Revelation

I clicked the doorbell to my best friend's apartment. I patiently waited as I heard noises of scrambling inside. Soon Yunji came to open the door.

"Yerin!" She stared at me with wide eyes. I noticed that she was slightly out of breath and seemed a little dazed. What was she doing before I came? When Yuniji finally snapped out of her daze and realized that her best friend was standing their outside her apartment, she broke into a grin and attacked me with a bear hug. "Yerin!"

As I returned the hug I saw that Yunji was not alone in that apartment. I realized that it was someone I haven't seen in a long time.

I looked at Yunji, then back at that familiar man sitting on her sofa with a smile on his face. "Yunji, you..."

She blushed and smile, "Yes, I'm going out with Jihoon..."

"Congrats!" I said, walking into her apartment, and she closed the door behind me. "I never knew you two had a thing."

Jihoon laughed, "Yea...I'm pretty good at hiding my feelings." He scratched the back of his head, slightly embarrassed.

"Enough about us," Yunji said, pushing me to sit down on a one seat sofa, "What about you, Yerin, are you alright?"

"Yea, I'm fine," I shrugged, "it's just...a lot has happened over the past couple weeks."

"I've been meaning to visit you, but my professor just decided that I needed more work and I've been stuck in front of my desk." Yunji explained.

"It's okay, I understand," I replied.

"Where are you staying now anyway? I know you're not living in your apartment anymore, are living with your boyfriend Jimin?" Yunji asked.

"Um... yes, sort of." I hadn't really thought of how to explain everything to Yunji without telling her too much. If she knows too much it might put her in danger, and I couldn't have that.

"What do you mean sort of? Where do you live now?" Yunji ask with her thin brows slightly furrowed

"I'm...staying with Min Yoongi right now."

"Min Yoongi!?" Yunji's eyes widened, "Isn't he that really rich and famous CEO of the company Blaze?"

I nodded.

"Why the hell would you be living with him!? What has been going on?"

"It's just my boyfriend's job," I lied to Yuniji. I had to, she couldn't know about what I've been through other wise she would be worry sick. "He works for him."

"Min Yoongi?" Jihoon joined in with the conversation, "I've heard a few things about him...and they are not good things."

"What do people say about Yoongi?" I asked.

"I've heard that he deals in the underground black market...and he's killed many that opposed him."

I awkwardly chucked, "I'm sure those are only rumours. He's been really nice to me so far."

"If you say so, Yerin," Jihoon nodded.

My phone started ringing, interrupting our conversation. I reached into my bag and took it out. I pressed the green sign and held it to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Yerin," Jungkook said on the other side of the phone, "You need to come to FIRE building now."

"Why? But I'm just visiting my friends." I asked.

"I explain when you get here. Just come quickly."
