"No... No..." Taehyung begged Yoongi and Eunjung. I could tell Taehyung's heart was breaking into pieces. Tears started falling down his cheeks as he thought about his fault and possible redemption.

"As for you, Miss Jung," Eunjung said. "You are Yerin's mother, so I guess it is only suitable that Yerin decides your fate."

"Me?" I whispered in shock.

"Yerin, what do you think we should do with your mother?" Eunjung asked.

I paused as a thought came up in my head. Was this a test? A test of my loyalty to FIRE? I guess Yoongi and Eunjung did have a reason to reaffirm my loyalty seeing my whole family seemed to be on the other side.

I carefully asked. "What are my options?"

"Either we punish her lightly, because she technically saved FIRE," Eunjung replied, "Or we punish her according to her crimes of endangering you, Jimin, indirectly causing the death of FIRE members, and putting the whole of FIRE in risk."

"I think we should punish her according to her crimes," I said without hesitation.

Eunjung smiled, satisfied. "I think so too."

"That's settled then," Yoongi said. "Taehyung, you know what to do."

Taehyung just sat there in a daze, his tears never stopping. Jungkook pulled him up to his feet and escorted him out. That somehow just reminded me he last time Taehyung was discovered to be a spy, but only this time the consequences were much more dire.

"Jimin, what is the punishment for those who turn on FIRE?" Yoongi asked.

"Death," Jimin answered.

"Yes. But because you have a hand in stopping Yun, I will not kill you." Yoongi said to my Mum. "Eunjung, didn't that friend of ours want a slave?"

"Yes, he did," she replied. "I heard he has some...special likings."

"Well, I guess we have a place for Miss Jung," he smiled. "Jimin, bring her to the prep room."

Jimin nodded and forced Mum onto her feet, then pushed her into the lift. I was left with my two bosses and the dying ex-investigator.

"I'm so sorry about my mother," I said, "I have no idea why she thinks she has the right to do what she did."

"It's alright, Yerin," Yoongi said, "You didn't know, and you were a victim of what she did. I will not punish a daughter for her mother's crime."

"Thank you, Yoongi..." I said, trying to hide my immense relief.

"So this is the person that sent the notes?" Eunjung asked, looking at Yun on the chair.

Yoongi nodded, "Yes, he is the one that has been following Yerin. Remember how Yerin was also followed before she went to Goyang to confront Kim Namjoon? I think that's him too."

"Interesting," Eunjung commented. Yoongi and her exchanged a look, then she said to me, "Come on Yerin, we still have work to do."

I followed Eunjung out of Yoongi's office. I was very curious of what Yoongi planned to do to Yun but I was too scared to ask. If he was already so harsh to those who only had a small part in what happened, I didn't even want think about what he would do to that man that was the main perpetrator.

"What was that with Taehyung?" I asked when Eunjung seated herself into her office chair.

"He has a new girlfriend, but he cannot stay with her if he wants to continue being in FIRE."
