"Here we are," Namjoon said as the car came to a stop. I was half expecting him to bring me to some sort of horrible forced labour building owned by FIRE or something. But instead, it was one of the luxury residential building in Goyang. The driver helped Namjoon into his wheelchair. Then Namjoon and I entered the building.

We went into a lift and Namjoon pressed the button for the sixth floor. The doors opened after the lift made a ding noise and we exited. Namjoon, in his wheelchair, led the way around a corner of the corridor, arriving in front of one of the apartments.

He knocked three times and waited. The door sooner opened and an unexpectedly familiar face greeted me.

"Hey Namjoon, who's w..." the woman with grey streaks in her hair paused when her eyes wondered to me.

"Yerin..." she whispered.

"Mum..." I too whispered in shock. I looked at Namjoon who just silently looked at us with a smile.

"What... Namjoon why didn't you tell me?" My mum questioned the man.

"I didn't plan to bring her here. It was an emergency," he replied.

"Alright," she stood aside to let us both in, the she closed and locked the door behind us.

She turned around and faced me. "Yerin... How have you been?"

My brows were furrowed. "What do you mean how have I been? Do you even care after you just left me with dad?"

"I- I do, I really do care about you, my baby daughter. It was just, I didn't expect him to get so bad."

I rolled my eyes. "Sure."

"Yerin..." she frowned. "Here, just take a seat." Ah gestured towards the sofa and I did.

"So... I've seen the news," my mum said.

"What news?"

"Of you being wanted as the suspected Busan Killer."

What kind of conversation topic was that, bringing up how your daughter was wanted by the police? My mum had always been one of those rather 'happy go lucky' people. She tended to say things at awkward timing sometimes.

"That's old news." I simply replied.

"Do you know who's the real Busan Killer?" She asked.

"Yea, Nam Seoyun."

She shrugged, "Meh, I guess."

"Well," Namjoon interrupted our not-so-smooth reunion. "Let's have some food. Yerin must be hungry too."

My mum nodded. She called for a maid and told her to start cooking.

I glanced around at this rather nice house. "Is this house yours?"

"No, it's my husband's."

Now I remembered Hoseok-oppa telling me how she remarried to an executive of Bludhood who is quite well off. "Where is he now?"

Her smile faded a little. "He is dead. Killed by FIRE."

"Oh," I muttered.

We talked a little bit with my mum trying to make conversation with me and I just curtly replying, and the occasional chirp in from Namjoon. We had some dinner served up by the maid. When we finished, the outside was dark already.

A phone started ringing and turned out it was Namjoon's. He took it out from his pocket and connected the phone call.

"Is he going? ...good. Alright. Good work." He then cut off the phone call.

"Yerin," Namjoon said, "Now let's get you to see FIRE's true face."

"Where are you bringing her?" My mum asked.

"There is no need for you to know." Namjoon said. My mum didn't say anything back. I guess she was only a wife of a dead member afterall and not an actual member of the gang, so she was not trusted with information.

"Come on, let's go," Namjoon said as he wheeled himself towards the apartment door. I followed him out and down the building.

"Are we walking there?" I asked when I noticed the car had gone.

"Yes. It's close." He answered.

Where could he be taking me to at this time of the day? To be honest my heart we speeding up as we continued to walk. I tried to anticipate what he would show me. It's night so maybe a prostitute house or something? I didn't think that would change my loyalty to FIRE though.

"We're here," Namjoon said as he slowed down his wheelchair. I looked around in confusion. We were just on a street in an even quieter part of the city. There was nothing unusual.

"What is this?" I asked.

He nodded ahead. "Go, continue walking. You'll see after turning that corner."

I narrowed my eyes. "You want me to walk ahead alone? I don't trust you that much."

He only smiled. "Witnessing the true face of FIRE or not? Your choice."

I huffed. He knew I would do it. I carefully trod forward and turned the corner...

Nothing was there. I was even more confused by this situation.

I turned back around and started saying, "Namjoon, there's n-"

Suddenly someone popped out of the shadow and grabbed my arm.

"Leader Kim bought you here?" A man's voice said.

I couldn't see his face well as it was too dark.

"Yes," I said. "Who are you?"

"Come with me."

He started pulling me by the arm into the building behind us through a door I didn't even noticed was there. I reluctantly went with him.

As we walked down a dark corridor with black walls, the sound of cheering was getting louder and louder. We went through a door at the end of the corridor and I shocked by what was inside.

It was a different world. A cage of sort stood in the middle of a large room with beams of bright lights gets focused on it. Mostly men, and a few women, surrounded the cage with there attention all focused there. The room was full of a strange anticipation.

I gasped when I noticed there was actually a person inside the cage. A women, whose age I couldn't tell as her hair covered her face, sat motionlessly on the floor of the cage. She seemed either oblivious, or num to the exited crowd.

A man stood up on a dais by the side and started shouting, "Ladies and gents of FIRE! Welcome to another night of this exciting event! For the first match of the day, we have our victor from yesterday up against a person we should all know. Can anyone guess who?"

A single name could not be identified from the overlapping shouts from the audience. The man out a hand up to stop them.

He revealed, "The famous Busan Killer suspect... Song Yerin!"
