Loyalty

Jungkook pulled out a chair and Jimin threw Yun into it. Yun graoned as his shoulder hit the back of the chair.

"He threatened FIRE as well," Jimin said.

Yoongi raised an eyebrow. "He did?"

Jimin nodded and proceeded to tell him and Jungkook what happened in that basement. I chimed in a few times too to fill in.

Yoongi took a moment to process everything and turned his gaze to Mum. "So Miss Jung was the one that saved FIRE?"

Mum chuckled and said modestly, "It was nothing really. I just wanted to save my daughter."

"Whatever you goal was, you did us a massive favour. Thank you." Yoongi said. "However..."

Even I could tell the change of tone in Yoongi's voice. As my father once said, nothing before the 'but' really mattered.

Yoongi continued, "You were an accomplice of that man in luring Yerin there. You even involved one of my executives, a brother of mine, in your little scheme."

"I- I just wanted to test Jimin-"

"Don't be ridiculous!" Yoongi suddenly shouted so loudly it even shocked me.  Of course it immediately made Mum shut up. "Test? Who do you think you are to test Jimin? Jimin is my executive, and you? I was only showing you mercy because you are Yerin's mother. I even allowed you to work in Blaze. And what do you do with that mercy? You go and come up with you own little play that threatens the existence of FIRE. I was wrong to show you mercy."

I had never seen Yoongi that angry before, not even when Kim Namjoon blew up his mansion. It was a terrifying sight to all mortal humans.

Seeing his rage, Mum dropped to her knees to beg for forgiveness. "I'm so sorry! I was only trying think for the future of my dear Yerin. I would never betray FIRE for real!"

Yoongi stood up and slowly paced towards my Mum. "Never in my career in the underworld have I seen someone more crazy, or more stupid than you."

"I- I didn't mean to harm FIRE! And I would never harm my future son-in-law!"

"You already harmed FIRE. I lost men because of you. You should thank whatever god you believe in that Yerin and Jimin aren't hurt, or you would be suffering a fate worst than death right now," Yoongi spat the words out disdainfully.

Mum didn't dare to say anything. She only looked down at the marble floor in shame while shaking as badly as the old lady Jimin killed.

Yoongi left the woman and walked to Yun. Yun cowered into his seat.

"I'm glad they kept you alive," was all Yoongi said before turning away from him. That even earned a shiver from me.

The Boss of FIRE now stopped infront of the triple spy. Even though Taehyung was taller than Yoongi it felt quite the opposite. Before Yoongi even opened his mouth Taehyung already dropped to his knees in front of him.

"I'm sorry, Boss!" Taehyung bowed.

"Are there anything other secrets that I don't know?" Yoongi said.

Taehyung frantically shook his head. "No, no! I swear on my life that I have nothing else!"

"Right, you say that," Yoongi crouched down so his face was right next to Taehyung's, "but how can I ever trust you again?"
