Jimin typed something into the sat-nav and drove. After a while of silence, he put his hand that wasn't controlling the wheel on my upper thigh, and said to me, "I'm sorry, baby."
I sighed as I rubbed my neck where Jimin held the knife to. "It's fine." I wasn't going to blame Jimin for getting us both out alive. We fell into silence again afterward.
He drove until we arrived at a more urban area. He parked the van at a side of the road. I realised it was the MK safe house that we had been staying in.
Jimin hid the knife in his jacket and said to me, "Come with me. Stay close."
I got out the car and carefully followed him up the building. Luckily, no members of MK were anywhere in sight. We quickly grabbed only our essentials from the apartment before hurrying back down into the van. Jimin once again typed something into the sat-nav.
"Where are we going?" I asked Jimin.
"Airport." He replied as the car accelerated. When we arrived at HKIA Jimin found the counter of the airline that we came to Hong Kong with and asked for any scheduled flights to Busan.
"There's one in two hours." The lady behind the counted answered after typing into the computer. Jimin handed her a credit card and bought two tickets of that flight. We then walked around the airport to pass time.
"Are we safe here?" I asked.
Jimin linked his hand with mine. "No, but not MK nor Bludhood would dare to touch us this publicly." Jimin answered.
"Who was that man?" He then asked.
"My brother, Song Hos- no, Jung Hoseok. I think he follows my mum's maiden surename now." Something came to my mind, "Don't you know my brother? I remember you saying you knew that I have a brother when we first met."
Jimin shook his head. "Yes, but I stopped collecting information about you after we properly met, so I didn't know who your mum married or what your brother did after that."
I sighed, "I still can't believe my brother is in Bludhood... and my mother the wife of one of their executives. Oh my gosh, what to do..."
"Why did you not keep in contact with your brother? You two seem to love each other enough."
"My father prevented me at first, and I guess we kind of just never rekindled after that..."
"Is he easy to manipulate?" Jimin asked.
I looked at him. "What? Why'd you ask that?"
"It seems like he fully believes FIRE is evil and Bludhood is the 'good guy'."
"Are you saying Kim Namjoon somehow brainwashed him?"
Jimin huffed, "He even thinks we are holding you with us against your will, or somehow brainwashing you."
"...You are not, are you?" I said jokingly with a laugh.
A smiled creeped onto his flawless face, "I am actually brainwashing you to be in love with me."
I huffed sarcastically, "Right, of course. Then I should leave you now?"
"Sure. Go back out there, let MK and Bludhood kidnap you again. I won't get you out this time."
I hit him on the arm playfully. "I don't need you to get me out. I can just hold a knife to my own throat." Saying that, it reminded me and my smile disappeared. My tone turned serious, "You got us out by threatening my life in front of my brother... That just made it worst didn't it? Now he truly believes that you are evil and that he needs to save me."
"That's shouldn't be your biggest concern." Jimin said.
"Not my biggest concern? Jimin, he is my brother!'
"Shh," he hushed my slightly raised voice. "Yerin think about this. You brother and your mother are both related to Bludhood. And what is FIRE currently trying to do?"
I was starting to see what he was getting at. "...FIRE is trying to destroy Bludhood."
"You don't want FIRE to lose because then I, Jungkook and Eunjung would all be killed. But now you don't want Bludhood to lose either."
My brows furrowed even deeper. Shit, I do see how that should be my biggest concern now. I just made contact with brother after not seeing him for so long, I didn't want to lose him immediately. But my boyfriend and my friends were all in FIRE, and they'd surely be pursued, if not killed, if Bludhood wins since they think that FIRE is an all evil organization.
"You're right. What should I do?"
"There is nothing we can do at the moment. We need to go back and find Eunjung, then we can decide."
-----
We arrived back in Korea at around five in the morning. We went back to that parking lot where Jimin's silver car was parked.
He took out his phone once we were in the car. He pressed a number in his contact and put it on speaker.
"Hello?" Jungkook's husky voice came through the phone after a few rings, as if he was just woken by this call.
"Jungkook, we're back." Jimin said.
"Jimin-hyung? Is Yerin there with you?"
"I'm here," I spoke up.
"Why are you two back so soon? The war is far from over." Jungkook said.
"MK betrayed us," Jimin answered, "They are with Bludhood. They tried to take me and Yerin to them."
I could hear Jungkook sighing. "MK... I'm glad you two are okay."
"Is Eunjung alright?" I blurted out.
"...I don't know. She hasn't properly eaten or slept since what happened."
I frowned. Eunjung needed to take care of herself. She was now the Boss of FIRE after all, and there was a waging war with the other gang. FIRE needed her leadership.
"Where is Eunjung now?" I asked.
"She's with me," Jungkook said. "You know what, why don't you come to my place?"
I nodded to Jimin. He said, "Alright, Jungkook we are coming now."
