“What do you mean there is no door?” I asked immensely angry at him for nothing he was responsible for. “How did she leave then? I heard her footsteps walking out of here.” I said confused. I still couldn't see clearly, as if there was something in my eyes, some sort of liquid preventing me from seeing. And obviously I missed the biggest thing in the room. The wall that was apparently surrounding us.
“We can still get out though” he said as he directed me closer to the wall. “It's not exactly a wall” he tried to explain, only realising he was getting me further annoyed. Why couldn't he speak like any other human being, but beat so much around the bush. I could honestly slap him. I was really angry, and I didn't know why. As if I was having some sort of mood swing I couldn't explain.
“What do you mean?” I hissed as I saw his figure outline look up.
“She didn't walk out. She crawled up the wall. There are about 30 metres of wall and then you can get out.” he said to me as though that would be comforting. 30 metres of wall are very difficult to climb if he hadn't noticed. Especially when you feel your body being as stable as a bowl of soup!
“And how are we meant to get up there?” I asked with an angry twang.
“Are you up for a piggy-back?” he asked obviously trying to cheer me up but not doing a very good job at it!
“And how exactly are you meant to climb a 30-metre wall with me on your back?” I asked, now feeling a splitting headache coming on, stronger than I had ever felt before.
“I'm a lot stronger than I look” he said as I nearly cried in pain. MY HEAD!!!
“OK then...?” I said hesitantly as I felt him try and put me on his back, without any whatsoever warning. I jumped slightly but allowed it, assisting him as much as I could with my less than perfect vision.
“Ready?” he asked me when I most certainly was not.
We were so close to getting out. At that point, I heard an extremely loud noise. Something was wrong.

John Pope
John Pope walked in his dominant manner as he did most days. Today his life had changed once more. His daughter was back, and now she completely different. Or at least that is the way he saw it. She was half-alien, the thing he hated most! But she was his baby girl. The little girl who he had held when she was born, changed her dippers, been there when she was sick. Possibly the only person who didn't hate him. Yet...
He had to leave her to check the bar. The enormous bar fight that had occurred there earlier that day was sad. He didn't actually know whether or not anyone had gotten seriously hurt, all he knew was that his best friend and most trusted consult, Lyle was in jail after trying to kill his daughter and actually killing the middle Mason son.
