The Unexpected Love

I Can't Believe This Has Happened.

***Leah*** 

Its been a few weeks since i found out im pregnant with Aaron's baby. Me and Niall are in a good place and he is so supportive. 

The morning started off normal, Niall had meetings and he will be home soon. It was now 1pm. 

I laid on the sofa watching movies.

"Ouch" I said as i felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I rubbed my belly and i felt my baby moving. 

I was now 8 weeks pregnant and i had just started to get a little bump. 

"I'M HOME" Niall shouted as he shut the front door. He walked into the living room, where i was.

"Are you in pain?" He asked as he rushed towards me.

"Yeah a little, i have really bad cramps but i think that is normal" I said as i stood up, hoping the pains would go.

"Maybe we should get you checked out?" Niall asked as he helped me up.

"No, im fine, this is normal" I said.

"Okay, well if your sure" Niall asked, worried.

"Yeah im sure" I replied, "Stop worrying" I added.

"Lea, i need to talk to you" Niall asked as he sat on the sofa.

"Sure, whats up?" I replied, while still standing.

"Um...well the fans have kinda figured out that your pregnant, don't ask me how because i don't actually know" Niall confessed.

"What? these fans find everything and anything out, how?" I asked, confused.

"I don't know" Niall replied.

"Well what do we do?" I asked. 

"We ignore it, because if we confirm it, they will go nuts, either because your with me or the fact that the baby isn't mine and i don't want them to hate you anymore" Niall said.

"Okay" I agreed. Although, i don't quite know how we will keep this a secret when im looking like a beach whale, but anyway, i guess we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

It was now 5pm and i just started making dinner.

"Ouch" I said as i dropped the pan of water. 

"Whats going on?" Niall said as he ran into the kitchen.

"I don't know, i have them pains again but its really bad this time" I said as i held my hand on my belly. 

"Sit down babe" Niall said as he pulled out a chair for me. 

I sat on the chair and put my hands on my legs.

"Um...Lea...your bleeding" Niall said, worried.

I looked down and my jeans and hands were covered in blood. What is going on?

Niall rushed me to the hospital and i got seen to straight away. Niall had to wait outside in the waiting room. 

"Hi Leah, we are just going to do a scan and check that baby is okay" Georgia, my nurse said.

The nurse moved the probe around my belly but i couldn't hear a heart beat. 

"Why can't i hear the heart beat?" I said, worried. I started to panic. 

"Shhh please Leah, i need silence" Georgia said.

5 minutes had pasted and i still couldn't hear a heart beat. Something must be wrong as Georgia called for the doctors and hit the red alarm button. 

The room was flooded by doctors and nurses. 

"Okay Leah, we need to give you a general anesthesia, this will make you sleep" Georgia said before injecting me. 

I fell straight to sleep while the doctors and nurses worked around me.

I woke up an hour later, Niall was sitting in a chair in the corner. He looked sad. 

"Whats going on?" I said as i slowly woke up.

"Leah babe" Niall rushed over to me and held my hand.

"My baby? where is my baby? Is my baby safe?" I said as i put my hand on my belly.

"Leah, im so sorry. You had a miscarriage, the baby has gone" Niall explained, while a few tears rolled down his face.

"What? that can't be right, my baby is fine, my baby is alive, my baby is safe in me" I said, in shock.

"I'm afraid not babe, your baby has gone" Niall said as he clutched onto my hand harder.

"No, not my baby, please not my baby" I said as i cried. I was devastated. 

Niall moved in close and hugged me but i pushed him away. All i wanted was my baby.

"Please, not my baby, where is my baby, i want my baby back" I screamed.

Niall tried to calm me down but it wasn't working. 

My baby was gone. 

I had to stay in hospital over night to the doctors and nurses could monitor me. Niall didn't leave my side, he slept in the chair in the corner. 

This was unreal, i felt numb, i felt empty. 

I was so excited to finally have a baby and Niall was happy, everything was perfect and then it was gone in a flash.

If i had only listened to Niall when i first got the pains, my baby would still be here. I would still be carrying my baby. My baby would still be alive.

The nurses gave me a sleeping tablet to help me sleep as all i could do was cry. 

I can't believe this has happened.
