The Unexpected Love

The months have flown by, my baby was due last week yet there is still no sign of him. I am now over Harry completely. He hasn't even texted or called. He doesn't want to know anymore. 

"Mum can you help me put up the baby cot" I shouted from upstairs to my mum. 

"Coming" My mum shouted as she rushed up the stairs.

Me and my mum spent an hour putting up the cot, luckily the Moses basket was already up. 

"Don't forget to put his clothes in the draws" My mum said as she went back downstairs.

"Yes mum" I said as i started going through his clothes. 

*Buzz, Buzz* My phone vibrated. It was a text from Niall.

Nialler

"Hey Lea, how are you doing? any sign of the baby yet? love Nialler xx" 

"No, no sign of the baby just yet, ill let you know when he arrives. Love Lea xx"  I replied.

It was now 3pm and i had just finished going through the baby's clothes. 

"Ouch" I said to myself as i felt a sharp pain go straight through my bump. I rested my hand on my bump. 

"MUM....I THINK ITS HAPPENING" I shouted to my mum. The pain kept coming and coming. 

My mum rushed upstairs and sat me down. After 5 minutes of sitting on my bed, i decided to stand up.

"Umm...mum..." I said as i wet myself.

"Well there goes your waters" My mum joked.

"Now's not really the time to joke mum" I said, stressed.

"Oh right, yes....get in the car and i will drive you to the hospital" My mum said as she helped me into the car. 

We got to the hospital and i was seen straight away.

"Right Leah, its really important that you breath, this next push is going to be painful" The midwife said as she put on her gloves. 

I took a deep breath and started to push.

"Good, good, good, good" The midwife said as i pushed my way through the pain. 

"Is he out yet?" I screamed.

"Nope not yet, a few more pushes" The midwife replied.

I started to pant and push at the same time. After what seemed like days, he finally arrived. 

"There we go.... congratulations Leah, you have a beautiful and healthy baby boy" The midwife said as she cleaned the baby and pasted him to me.

I held him in my arms and tried to stop him from crying. He opened his eyes and our met. As soon as he saw me, he stopped crying. 

My labor lasted for 15 hours but he was finally here, my baby was finally here.

It was a few hours later and i texted Niall to tell him that the baby was here. I still hadn't picked a name. Niall soon came rushing in.

"Hey Lea, aww is this him? this the little baby" Niall asked as he rushed to my side. 

"Yep, this is him...Niall meet Noah" I said as i pasted the baby to Niall.

"Noah, that's a great name" Niall said as he cuddled the baby. 

"Have you heard from Harry?" I asked.

"Nope, i told him that the baby was born but he didn't reply" Niall said. He couldn't keep his eyes off the baby. 

"Never mind then, i guess ill be a single mum" I admitted as i took the baby off Niall. 

"No you won't. I'll be there for you, i promise" Niall said as he held my hand. 

Well at least i have someone. 

"Hi Leah, you and Noah can go home now" The midwife said as she discharged me. 

"I'll drive you home, if you like?" Niall said as he picked up my overnight bag.

"Okay thanks" I agreed.

Niall dropped me and Noah off at home. 

"Can i help in anyway?" Niall asked as he helped me out the car.

"No thanks but if you see Harry, tell him his son is born" I said as i carried the baby into my house. 

I was exhausted. I laid in bed, cuddling my new baby son. His hair, his eyes, his face, everything about him so was perfect. He was tiny but there was just one problem....he was Harry's double. 

Every time i looked at his little face i was reminded by Harry. 

I finally got him settled and he soon fell asleep in my arms. I placed him in his cot and got into my bed. I laid there, thinking about what life would have been like if i hadn't of had my baby, maybe me and Harry would still be together but i have to move on, and its for the best. 

My son was The Unexpected Love.
