We Were About To Kiss!

The morning had gone quickly today. I was working in the shop and it had been quiet all day. A few people came in but there wasn't enough to keep me busy.

The afternoon had quieted down and it was nearly time for me to go home. 

As i re-stocked the newspapers, i heard the shop door bell go off. I walked back to the counter and stood behind the till, waiting to serve the customer.

"We will have these please" A girl with her friends said as she put some sweets on the counter.

I scanned the sweets and added them all up.

"That's £3.20" I said as i handed her the sweets, waiting for the money.

The girl gave me the money and i gave her, her change. 

"Hey....Your Niall Horan's friend" The girl noticed me.

I ignored her and they soon went.

Work soon finished and i went home to get changed. It was only 4pm. 

I got a text from Harry.

"Hey Leah, fancy meeting me and Louis in the park? H xx" 

"Sure, see you in 10 minutes. L xx"

I quickly threw on some clean clothes, gabbed my bag and left.

I soon arrived at the park and i saw Harry and Louis walking round the park lake.

"Hey" I said as i walked up to them.

"Hiya love" Louis said as we hugged.

"Hiya babe" Harry said as we then hugged.

I stood in between them both and we linked arms. 

"So you and Niall?" Harry asked.

"What about me and Niall?" I replied, confused.

"Are you two still together?" Louis asked, they were both looking at me with a big smile on their faces.

"No, were friends and that's it" I put a stop to it. 

"What are you lot doing here?" An Irish man shouted from behind us.

"Oh Niall, hiya" I said as me, Harry and Louis turned around.

"Were just chilling, what are you doing here" Harry said as we stopped walking and waiting for Niall to catch up.

"Just here with Lou and Lux" He said as he carried Lux while Lou pushed the pram behind him.

"Fancy seeing you here lad" Louis said as he patted Niall on the back.

"Harry" Lux shouted in excitement.

"Alright Lux, come here then" Harry said as he put his arms out and Lux fell into them.

Harry carried Lux while me, Niall and Louis linked arms and messed around.

It was now 6pm and it was getting chilly. 

"Its freezing, shall we go home soon?" I said as i cuddled myself to keep warm.

"Here have my jacket" Harry said as he took off is jacket and gave it to me.

"Thank you" I said as i put it on. 

"Yeah lets go, do you guys want to go out for dinner?" Harry asked as he playing with Lux, who was sat in her pram.

"Sorry mate, i said i would meet up with Josh and the band" Niall said as he got up and got ready to go.

"Yeah sorry Harry, im having a roast dinner with my mum and family" Louis said as he got up.

"Yeah me and Lux better go too" Lou said. 

"Leah? dinner?" Harry asked me with a sparkle in his eye.

"Sure" I agreed. I was starving.

Me and Harry had been at the restaurant now for 30 minutes. We sat in a little booth in the corner at the back. 

Our meal had just arrived and the waitress knew it was Harry.

"Hi Harry, Sorry to interrupt but im a huge fan of you, can i get a picture?" The waitress said. She looked about 19. 

"Um....sure" Harry said as he stood up and quickly took a picture with the waitress.

 I sat there awkwardly waiting for Harry to finish.

"Thanks Harry" She said before leaving.

Me and Harry started to eat our dinner and the conversation was flowing smoothly. Harry still had the sparkle in his eyes.

An hour had pasted and we had finished our meal. We paid for our meal and then walked out of the restaurant. 

"See you later Harry, thanks for dinner" I said as we hugged and i started to walk home.

"Wait....where are you going?" He asked, confused.

"Walking home" I replied with a smile on my face.

"Don't be stupid, come get in my car and i will drive you" Harry said as he unlocked his car and opened the passengers side.

"Are you sure? I can walk?" I asked, debating whether to get in or not.

Harry walked over to me and picked me up. 

He carried me to his car and put me in the passengers side.

"I'm giving you a lift home" He said as he done up my seat belt and closed the door.

Harry got in the car and started to drive me home.

Harry pulled up outside my house. 

I undone my seat belt and picked up my bag, which was on the floor.

"Please, let me" Harry said as he got out the car and walked over to my side and opened the car door for me.

"Thank you" I said as i started to get out.

Harry held my hand and helped me out of his car. 

"Thanks for tonight" Harry said as we moved closer.

"No thank you" I said as Harry held my hand.

"Good night Leah" He said, while staring right into my eyes.

"Good night Harry" I said as i looked into his sparkling eyes.

Me and Harry moved in closer and closer.

Our heads were touching. We both closed our eyes and moved our lips closer.

Just as we were about to kiss before my mum came out the front door.

"LEAH, YOUR DAD IS ON THE PHONE" She shouted as she had the house phone in her hand.

UGH!! BAD TIMING MUM!!! I'M TRYING TO KISS HARRY STYLES!!! 

Me and Harry opened our eyes and moved away.

I ran inside and Harry drove off in his car.

Did i just go on a date with Harry freaking Styles? 

We were about to kiss!
