The Unexpected Love

What A Dick!

Its been a month and University is flying by. 

Today is my first Ballet performance with an actual audience. I asked Niall and Harry to come and watch but they said they couldn't make it as they had meetings. I guess ill be doing it without them.

I was backstage getting ready with the rest of the dancers. I was shitting myself....i was so scared. 

"Anna are you as nervous as i am?" I asked Anna, while we both got our make done.

"No, you forget this is my second year and this is only your first, its okay to be nervous" Anna reassured me.

I sighed and took in a deep breath.

"Right guys....5 minutes to show time and now's the time to announce we have some judges in the audience. They will be looking for perfection and detail and if they like you, you could get the chance to get signed and to work on Broadway" Mr Roberts said, excited but also nervous.

HOLY.SHIT. 

"Make me even more nervous why don' you" I whispered out loud.

"You will be fine, just don't fuck up" Matt joked with me.

"Thanks Matt, you are so helpful" I joked back.

We all went on stage and done our group performance. Not one of us stepped out of line and no one fucked up, thank god!

Everyone stood up and clapped, even the judges. But now it was time for the pairs. I better not fuck this up.

Me and Matt went on stage and started to dance. The spotlight was on us and i couldn't see the crowd. 

Me and Matt danced together, beautifully. We didn't mess up and we were in sync the whole time. After we finished we both took a bow and everyone was off their seats and they were all clapping, including the judges. I looked out at the crowd and i saw the judges writing on their clipboards.

The dances had finished and I was backstage getting dressed.

"Leah, can you come outside please" Mr Roberts asked me.

I went outside and Mr Roberts walked off.

I was left confused....until i looked down the corridor. 

"HARRY, NIALL" I screamed as i ran to them.

I jumped on Harry and he picked me up and wrapped his arms around me. He let me go and then i hugged Niall. 

"I thought you said you couldn't come" I said, surprised. 

"Don't be stupid, we wouldn't miss this for the world" Niall said, excited.

"You danced beautifully" Harry said as he held my hand.

*Cough,Cough* "Excuse me....Miss" One of the judges said.

"Oh, hello" I said, nervous. 

"Are you Leah?" Another judge asked.

"Yes, i am" I replied. I was clutching onto Harry and Nialls hand so tightly. I was so nervous.

"We are pleased to tell you, you danced beautifully and so softly, we would like to offer you a place on Broadway...." The judge started.

HOLY.SHIT.BALLS.

"Really?" I asked, shocked and surprised. My smile was so big.

"Yes, you see your friends here Mr Styles and Mr Horan have told me all about you and from what i have just seen, you were amazing" The judge carried on.

"Oh my gosh, i don't know what to say" I said as i still had hold of the boy's hands.

"Say yes Leah..." Harry whispered.

"Don't give this opportunity away" Niall whispered.

"Yes, id love to be on Broadway" I answered.

"Good, well that's it then, congratulations" The last Judge said before they all walked away.

"Did that really just happen" I said as i put my hands on my cheeks.

"Yep" Niall answered.

Me, Harry and Niall all group hugged and jumped up and down. 

I was so excited. I GOT ON BROADWAY!!

I started to cry in shock.

"Baby don't cry, you were amazing and you deserve this so much, i am so proud of you" Harry said as he wiped my tears.

Me and Harry hugged and then i hugged Niall.

It was now the evening and the boys had gone. I laid in my bed, just thinking.

"So you ready to party? this might be your last Irish party?" Anna said as she put on her lipstick.

"Yeah, lets party" I said as i quickly got changed into a dress.

Me and Anna went to some random guys house party. 

We both got our drinks and started to dance.

"Can i have a word" Matt said as he tapped me on the shoulder.

"Sure" I agreed to go with him into the kitchen.

We got into the kitchen and nobody else was in here, it was just us two. Alone.

"So, congratulations" He said with a straight face. He seemed off.

"Thanks" I said, i didn't really want to talk to him. 

"But lets be honest, you have to thank me, i was your partner and if it wasn't for me then you wouldn't have been chosen" Matt continued.

"Excuse me? i won because im talented" I argued back.

"Talented? no darling, you won because you know two boys from the worlds biggest boyband" He continued to argue. 

"Jealous are we?" I asked.

"Of you? No of-course not, your nothing to be jealous of, your a no one" He shouted at me.

" I thought we were friends? why are you being like this?" I asked, confused.

"Because everyone knows im the best but here i am with no Broadway, im stuck here because of you" He shouted back.

"That's not my fault" I said as i tried to get past him.

"Where you going babe? we haven't even started yet" He said as he pushed me back, forcing me to bump into the kitchen counter.

"What are you doing?" I asked, scared.

Matt pushed himself towards me, he grabbed my chin and forced me to kiss him. He held the back of my head forward so i couldn't get away. Suddenly, the memories of my past came flooding back.

I kicked him in the private area and while he fell to the floor, i made a run for it.

What a dick!
