Niall Was My Hero Today!

***Leah***

Niall's mobile phone has been going off all morning and Niall keeps declining the calls. 

"Are you not going to answer that?" I asked as i laid in bed, next to him.

"No, i don't want to talk to anyone" Niall said as he laid, facing me. 

"Niall, im sorry" I said as i looked him straight in the eyes.

"Sorry for what? you have nothing to be sorry about?" Niall said as he gave me a smile.

"I do though, I shouldn't have gone with him, i shouldn't have let him do that to me" I started.

"Don't you dare talk like that, you couldn't help it, he is much stronger than you. Listen, i love you and that's all that matters, forget about him. I'm just sorry you had to go through the pain" Niall said as he put his arm around me. 

I honestly love this guy so fucking much. 

"I will protect you forever" Niall reassured me. 

* * * * 

It was now the afternoon and me and Niall had just been chilling, watching movies. 

*Knock,Knock,Knock* Someone was at the door.

"Who's that?" I asked, looking up to Niall.

"I don't know, im not expecting anyone" Niall said as he got up and walked towards the front door. 

I could hear Niall talking to someone. It was another man. But i couldn't hear everything. 

I got up and walked to the front door, only to be in shock.

"Aaron" I said, shocked.

"Well, look what we have here, were not done babe" Aaron said as he pushed his way past Niall and walked straight to me.

"I don't think so mate" Niall said as he grabbed Aaron's coat and pulled him back. 

I screamed as Aaron turned around and punched Niall in his face.

I fell to the floor, this was my worst nightmare.

Niall and Aaron had a full punching fight. But to my surprise, Aaron ended up on the floor in pain. 

I sat on the floor in tears.

"LEAH RUN, CALL THE POLICE" Niall shouted at me while he tried to keep Aaron on the floor.

I ran upstairs and locked myself in the bathroom, i called the police and waited for them to come. 

I could hear Niall and Aaron fighting, i heard them smashing things and shouting at each other. The police finally came and i heard Aaron get pulled away. 

Silence. I couldn't hear anything.

*Knock,Knock,Knock* Someone knocked on the bathroom door.

"Lea? its me, Nialler" Niall said.

I immediately opened the bathroom door and hugged him. He had a black eye and his eyebrow was cut. He was in pain but he was my hero. 

"Lea, the police want to talk to you" Niall said as he led me downstairs. 

He wiped my tears and gave me a hug.

I had just finished my interview with the police and i now had to be checked out by a nurse.

I got into the nurses room and laid on the bed while they examined my bruises. 

"Hi Leah, i have a few questions for you, if that's okay?" The nurse asked as she looked at her questions list.

"Okay" I replied, scared.

"Okay, i need to know; Did anything sexual happen?" The nurse started.

"Yes" I replied.

"Did you or him use any protection" The nurse asked.

"No, i don't think so" I replied.

"What do you mean?" The nurse asked, confused.

"I wanted it to be over, i felt numb, i had my eyes closed. I didn't see him use protection" I confirmed.

"Okay, well then we have to assume that it was unprotected and we will have to do an internal examination, if that's okay?" The nurse asked.

I confirmed to the examination. 

After a few minutes the examination was over. I was so scared. 

"Right, okay Leah, the examination showed nothing at this stage, i think it is too early to tell if anything serious has happened so i am going to book you an appointment to come back and have the examination again" The nurse explained. 

I was so scared.

Me and Niall arrived home and we both went upstairs and laid on the bed. 

"Hows your eye and eyebrow?" I asked.

"Its okay, its nothing, not compared to what you have been through" Niall said as he brushed his fingers through my hair. 

"What about the examination, what if-" I started.

"Shhh Lea, what will be will be, you just have to be strong and just know i will always support you, no matter what happens" Niall reassured me. 

Even though Niall is there for me, im still scared. 

I am so grateful to have Niall in my life, i love him so much. He is my best-friend, i just don't think im good enough for him. 

I laid on Niall's chest and fell asleep while he brushed his fingers through my hair. 

I listened to his heart beat and i felt safe. 

Niall was my hero today!
