After dinner, Maine excused herself to use the washroom. She had arrived at the set looking tired and sick. She tried to look as presentable as she could, keeping herself busy so as not to think too much about the dinosaur within her. Yep, it was that time of the month that she dreaded the most.

Rj, who was also nursing a cold and a headache, sat quietly in one corner. He was running through his lines in his head.

When Maine returned, she stood beside Rj who was looking at her. She had a sad look so Rj carefully wrapped his arms around her. She then put her legs over his to sit on his lap. She leaned on his chest, head down.

"Kaya mo pa?" he whispered in her ear

She just nodded and sighed heavily.

He kissed her head. She closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him on the cheek.

He let her cuddle on his shoulder and chest if only to make her feel better. She slightly jerked and started crying quietly as a wave pain hit her. She shut her eyes more tightly as the pain intensified. She sobbed quietly. Rj rubbed her back gently and held her hand to comfort her.

Rj felt sorry for Maine. He knows how much discomfort dysmenorrhoea can bring. He had seen how his sister, Rizza would suffer every month. He could only comfort Maine with a hug, for now. He sensed her distress and deepened his kiss on her head. He rubbed her arm or back from time to time.

"Sam...pa-check nga kung may eksena pa si Maine, please?" he called out to Leysam who was nearby.

"Hmm....wala now...mamaya pa...." Leysam said as he looked at their call sheet.

"Love...kaya mo pa ba? Why don't you go back to your van first and sleep?...." he quietly told Maine

She shook her head, no....

"Sige na, Love....I know masakit....pero I need to work muna.....I'll go to you as soon as I'm done...."

"Promise?" Maine asked tenderly, making "lambing".

"Yes...I promise...." he said and kissed her again. "Dean,  Jecker and Sam will accompany you to your van...." Rj assured her as he nodded to Sam and Jecker.

"Meng...tara na..." Dean held out his hand for her to hold. She slowly stood up.

Rj stood up and hugged Maine. He then cupped her face in his hands and said, "Sige na...go to your van na....I'll be there later...." he kissed her one more time.

Maine bowed her head as Rj wiped her tears with his thumbs and hands and run his hand through her hair. He then nodded to Sam, Jecker and Dean who escorted Maine back to her van.

Rj could only watch as the group left the standby area for the parking lot. He went over to Mama Ten and talked to her. Then, a production crew approached them.

"Alden, tawag ka na ni Direk....start na tayo...."

"Ahh sige, salamat...sunod na ako....Ma, kayo na muna bahala kay Maine...." Rj said as he turned on his heel to enter the set.

A few hours later, Rj approached Maine's van. She had been sleeping inside, laid across the back seat. He sat facing her. He brushed her hair away from her face and then gently stroked her cheek. She stirred.

"Shh....." he hushed and patted her shoulder.

She slowly opened her eyes and smiled.

"How are you feeling?" he said as he lay his hand on her arm.

She sat up and patted the seat beside her, inviting Rj to sit beside her. She moved so that she could sit on his lap again and cuddle.

"Masakit pa rin?"

She rested her head against his shoulder.

"Uwi ka nalang kaya....I'll talk to Direk...."

She shook her head.

"But Love, you're not feeling well....and your skin feels clammy....." he adjusted the adjusted the blanket she covered herself with.

She shook her head again. Her shoulders started to slowly shake; she was crying.

"O sige....ssshhhh....okay.....shhhhhh" he comforted her.

Leysam's head popped into the van. "Maine....tawag ka na ni Direk....kaya mo?"

She didn't say anything but looked at Sam and nodded.

"Sige...30minutes?"

She nodded again.

Rj took a towel that was on the seat and wiped Maine's sweat from her neck and face. Dean offered a bottle of water which she drank. He also handed her a pain reliever which she took. She moved to sit beside Rj who watched as she gingerly fixed herself.

"Take it easy lang....kung hindi mo talaga kaya, let us know...." Rj reminded her as he kissed her on her temple.

She offered a weak smile and made her way out of the van. Rj followed close behind, watching Maine intently.

Thankfully, she only had two scenes to shoot and the set up in between were not very long and tedious. The pain reliever helped a little and Rj was always there watching over her.

After the shoot, they went home together; Maine, sitting on Rj's lap, sleeping. He asked Kuya Eric, his driver, to take them home to her condo. When they got there, he didn't wake her but carefully lifted her and carried her to her condo. Dean unlocked the door.

"Sige...dun na ako sa room ko....goodnight..." Dean said.

"Salamat, bro!" Rj said

Rj laid Maine on the bed then went to the bathroom to get a face towel to clean her up. He then helped her into her night clothes. He tucked her in then took a quick shower himself before cuddling up to her and pulling the covers over him.

The next morning, Maine slowly opened her eyes and looked towards the side of her bed. There beside her was Rj. She gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek before resting her head back down on his shoulder. He slowly woke up and kissed the top of her head.

"Good morning...I love you...." he spoke gently as he smiled at her.

"Good morning, Love..." she replied as she looked up at him.

He looked down to kiss her on the lips.

"How are you feeling?"

"I feel a lot better....thank you...." she said as she lay her head back down on his shoulder and rested her hand on his chest.

"Anything for you, my love....anything for you...." he said as he kissed her head.
