A mid-morning phone call....
"Hello Tita. Good morning po. Pwede ko po bang sunduin si Menggay ng mga after lunch at sa condo nalang muna kami mag-stay habang inaantay yung pag-alis ng flight namin later?"
"Hello. O, Rj.....Okay. Gisingin ko na si Menggay."
"Thank you po."
"Ah sandali.....Rj, dito ka na mag-lunch."
"Ok po. On my way na po."
Maine comes down to the kitchen just as lunch is served...
"Good afternoon po, Tay, Nay.....bakit po may extra setting dito sa table eh kayo lang, ako....tapos si Dean...apat....bakit lima?" Maine greets her parents before sitting down at the table.
"......"
DINGDONG!
"....may bisita?" Maine mumbles to herself.
"Ate....andito po si Sir Rj....."
"Good afternoon po." Rj greets everyone as soon as he steps into the kitchen.
"Oh Love, andito ka...." Maine stands up and busses him a kiss on the cheek.
"Oo....susunduin ka kasi nya para sabay na kayo pa-airport mamaya..." Nanay explains.
"....eh tonight pa flight natin diba?"
"....kausap ko si Tita kanina....sya nag-invite sa akin mag-lunch na dito...."
"Ahh...."
"O sige, Rj, dyan ka na maupo sa tabi ni Menggay...." Tatay invites.
"Thank you po.....uhmm, Love....pa-CR muna please...." Rj acknowledges Tatay then whispers to Maine...
"Ahh...sige...washroom daw muna sya...." Maine says as she accompanies Rj to the powder room.
"Teka lang...." Rj pulls on Maine's hand as they make their way back to the kitchen. He wraps his hand behind her nape and pulls her in for a kiss. She kisses back.
"O....umupo na kayo...." Tatay says as the two reappear at the kitchen door.
"Thank you po" Rj replies and assists Maine to sit before taking his seat beside her.
"Anong gusto mo, Love?" Maine proceeds to serve him....
After lunch, they all proceed to the living room where Maine's bags are laid out for last minute items.
"Ready ka na, Love?...tatlong araw lang tayo ha...hindi 3 weeks!" Rj asks and chuckles at the sight of Maine's things.
"Hmm....mukhang ready na lahat....OA ka....konti lang yan ha....."
"Oooo.....kay" Rj responds teasingly.
"Passport? Ticket?" Nanay asks.
"Nasa backpack ko na po...."
"Andito na po, Tita...Love, jacket?" Rj says as he zips the backpack closed. He helps in closing her suitcase.
"Andyan o, sa tabi nung backpack..."
"Okay..."
"O sige, mag-ingat kayo ha...." Nanay reminds.
"Opo. Bless po." Maine says as she and Rj bid them goodbye by the door.
"Meng, mag-text ka pagdating sa condo....Rj, mag-ingat sa pagmamaneho...."
"Opo, Tay."
"Yes po, Tito....alis na po kami...."
At the condo....
"Kuya, andito kami sa condo ni Maine. Text ka nalang pag nandito ka na..."
"Ok"
"Sino ka-text mo?"
"Si Kuya Erick....sabi ko dito na sya dumirecho para sya mag-drive sa atin pa-airport mamaya...."
"Ahh...."
They lounge on the couch to while the time. They set their phone alarms before cuddling; Maine leaning against Rj's chest. He fiddles with her hair while she "examines" his fingers.

"Anong iniisip mo?"
"Wala naman....I'm just happy to spend time with you.....ang sarap ng feeling.....tahimik....."
"Oo nga....I actually miss this kind of quiet...."
"Patingin ng miss?" He chuckles and teases.
"Ganito...." She adjusts her sitting and hugs him tightly around the waist, resting her head against his chest.
"Ay! I like this!" He hugs her back and kisses her head.
"I love you, baby...."
"I love you, babe"
