Maine walked up to Rj who was seated on the floor fiddling with his phone after their spiel at the opening of the show. She was about to hug him when she noticed that his nape was red and sore.
"Hala! Love! Anong nangyari sa leeg mo?" Maine said as she sat beside Rj and looked at him.
Rj rubbed his nape and winced.
Maine took a closer look and run her hand gently on his skin.
"Hala! May konting kalmot-kalmot pa!"
"I think nung umakap sina Nanay kanina sa akin, nakalmot ako....naramdaman ko e...plus nahatak ata yung necklace ko ng konti...."
"Oo nga...." Maine's expression became serious. She slightly turned away from him and lifted her shirt. She rubbed her torso as she put down the shirt.
Rj saw this. He turned to her and looked her in the eye before lifting the hem of her shirt. There was a long red mark as well.
"Menggay!" Rj's voice was exasperated.
"Wala tayong magagawa, Love....it comes with our work....the fans will be like that sometimes...."
"Pero nasaktan ka na, o...." Rj said as he rubbed her side.
"I'm okay....it's just a scratch..."
"That's not okay with me...."
"Alam ko....pero andyan na e.....by the way...."
"What?"
"Salamat...." she said as she leaned in and gave him a peck on the lips.
"Saan?"
"Dun sa pag-protect mo sa akin kanina...."
"Always, Menggay.....always"
