"Anong nangyari?....Nasaan ako?....Ano to?" Rj slowly regains consciousness but is obviously distressed and confused by his surroundings.
"Ahh good, nagising ka na...." Daddy Bae is standing on one side of the bed.
"You passed out yesterday during SPS...the doctor said it's due to exhaustion" April explained. She was standing on the other side next to the nurse who was scribbling something on Rj's hospital chart.
"Richard R. Faulkerson, Jr...sir?" Nurse Maya asks
"Uhh....yes...."
"How old are you sir?"
"....24...."
"May naaalala pa po kayo from yesterday?"
".....uhmmm....nasa stage pa kami Je....DJ Bae....."
"....katatapos lang nung DJ Bae...kausap ka ni Jerald...bigla ka nalang daw bumagsak...." Daddy Bae says.

"The doctor said its due to exhaustion...." April continues
"Anak....sabi ni Doc, kailangan daw muna i-monitor yung puso mo....saka yung blood pressure mo kailangan din daw i-monitor...."
"....." Rj looks up at the ceiling and closes his eyes.

"....R.....J.......Love...." a familiar but very faint voice calls him back to consciousness.
"...Menggay?.....Maine?....." Rj answers.
"She's behind the curtain...." Ate April sits up from her chair when she sees Rj awake and moving.
"Curtain?"
"Yes....you're in the same room...."
"Room?"
"Yes...you're both in the hospital....you're here because of exhaustion....she's here because she's dehydrated....she also passed out at the baranggay...."
".....wait.....what?....."
"...You're in the hospital now.....Maine is in the next bed.....wait....." April tries to explain then stands up from her seat and pokes her head at the curtain behind her. She draws the curtain open. Maine is sitting up on the bed holding a kidney dish in front of her. Nanay Maryann is rubbing Maine's back while holding a towel while a nurse is watching and writing on her chart.
Maine vomits into the kidney dish and Nanay Maryann is quick to wipe her sweat and mouth. A nurse hands Maine a cup of water. After all these, Maine lays back down on the bed. She turns her head towards Rj who is looking soulfully at her. The nurse draws the curtain shut.
"....." Maine whimpers.
"Wait lang anak....bihis ka muna...amoy suka ka na e...." Nanay Maryann says.
