What a hectic week! Taping for Encantadia had finally started for Rj. This made changes to his daily schedule. Although this was just a guest appearance as Lakan, he'd have to shoot at least 3x a week for a couple of weeks. He was missing EB though. He missed being on the show. He missed the backstage activity. He missed being in the barangay even if Maine was not there and he thought of what he was missing out on now that she was back. He missed Maine. Funny though, he gets to chat with her over Viber and "sees" her on Facetime and video calls but somehow, today felt odd. It was different. Like something was amiss.

Rj could hardly sleep. He came from another day-long taping on the Enca set but he could not explain the anxiety he was feeling. He got to finish a whole season of GOT which floored him. He felt exhausted. He tossed and turned in bed.

Maine had other commitments after her regular EB/SB-KS schedule and a party to attend. The day was long and exhausting but sleep seemed to evade her. She tossed and turned in bed. She missed Rj; "What is he doing now? Is he asleep?" she wondered as she lay down wide-eyed on her bed in her dark bedroom. Rj had been "off" from EB/SB-KS due to a change in his work schedule because of his Enca guesting. Maine learned to accept this change as she, too, had also been "off" from her regular routine when she went to LA for a week. "....I hate being sick!" she thought. She had been suffering from a cold since she came home from her trip and even had a temperature when she arrived. She wanted to cuddle but couldn't. Rj still had an out of town gig and knowing how weak his immune system is, she decided to stay away from him first. "....but for how long?..." she sighed heavily.

They saw each other at the BW backstage as it was their weeksary. After exchanging pleasantries with the people there, Rj and Maine hied themselves to a corner away from everyone else. They hugged, tightly.

"Are you ready?" Rj asked.

Maine looked at him directly in the eye and slowly nodded, her face all serious.

"I love you....and you know that won't ever ever change....KS Alden loves KS Maine very much too...."

"I know....." She hugged him tightly and buried her face in his neck.

They went on set and did their piece. Tears flowed as hearts beat faster and hugs were tighter; A huge sigh of relief.

"....I love you....." Rj said as he and Maine walked back hand in hand from the EB gazebo to the backstage.

"....I love you...." Maine replied as she tightened her grip on his hand.

He stopped and pulled her toward him as they approached a dark corner of the stage wing. He wrapped his arms around her waist and leaned in for a kiss on her lips.
