The engine was soon turned off. Everyone remained silent.

I looked up and went to the back where I met jamie.
"We're stopping to stock up".
He told me giving me a hand out.

"I'll go change the kids. That way there's more hands to load up the truck".
He nods.

I take James from harry and take jacks hand to the toilets when everyone climbed out.

That was when two vehicles showed up. I rushed the boys into the room and closed the door over not locking it. This way there was a chance that they would think it was not being used and I crouched in the far corner away from the door with the boys staying quiet.

There was shouting....

Then a crash...

Glass braking....

I held onto the boys tighter and tried to hide their whimpering.

I was scared. Scared for myself. Scared for the boys. Scared for everyone's sake. Is jamie ok?

"You, check in there." Someone commanded.

I heard the door open to the main toilets and slowly, the squeaking of the stall doors opening and closing until...

A shadow stood behind the door. A little light flowing in.

I pulled the boys closer as the person stood there hesitant.

The door creaked open a little more. A figure stood by the door. Gun in hand.

He looked towards where we were and turned on the light.
I held my breath.

He watched me silently, studying me.
"Are you emma Williams?".

I don't say anything.

"I will not ask again!"

"Yes" I murmur.

"Come with me"

"What of...."I looked to the boys.

"I did not sign up to kill woman and children. If you come quietly I can pretend I never saw them."

"Thankyou," I sigh in relief. I sit jack down and put james quietly in his arms.
"You have to stay here and be a good boy, ok? Look after james for me and do not leave until mummy comes and gets you, alright?"

He nods. Yes, he was young but he was able to understand. There was always the chance mel was not coming for them but it was the only thing that could keep them safe.

I put my finger to my lips to jack and leave.

When I was brought from the bathroom the first thing I saw was the seeker. She was smiling mischieviously at me. " So glad you could join us. But I'm afraid you missed all the fun". She looks to her left.

I lift my head and look around. I gasp, unable to breath. I look around in horror. Ian laid still behind the shop counter. Paper and boxes everywhere.  Jared was thrown roughlessly into a fridge. Shards of blood and glass all over.
Then there was jamie.

Tears came to my eyes and I held my breath as I through myself down in front of him. He was leaning against isle counter. Blood spilled his shirt. He was pale and looked sickly.

I touched his face. Beads of sweat covered him. His breathing shallow.
"Help him! Somebody please!"

"Why?" Seeker smiled. I looked up pleading. The soldier from before had his head down.

I looked down to jamie. "Jamie? Jamie?" I called.

He groaned and opened his tired looking eyes."Em...'
He muttered.

"Shhhh. Keep your strength.  Your going to be ok." I ripped part of my top making it look like a crop top and pressed it onto his wound. He hissed.
"Sorry." I whispered tears threatening to come out.

"Lyle get this girl out of here. I've had enough fun for today." Serker spoke leaving the shop.

"Come" the soldier said.

"Em..no". Jamie tried to say.

"Listen. The boys are ok. I haven't seen mel or harry so one of them is going to help you. You hang on till then ok?"

"Em... don't go with them".

"Here," the solder said setting down a first aid kit and leaving it by him.

"Em..." I quickly kissed him.

"Its going to be alright" I whispered. Lyle pulled me up by the arm and pushed me out. Jamie trying to reach me.

As soon as I got outside I was forcing myself not to cry. Over in the bushes harrys hair caught my eye. He and mel watched from a far distance. I smiled knowing they where ok.

"Go!" Lyle shoved me into the car and climbed in beside me. I went to the other side only to find it locked.  Child lock on apparently. Seeker sat at the front and watched me in amusement.

"This will be interesting" she muttered.
