Host 2 - Jamie's Story

chapter 9

After picking out clothes for Lisa i pulled her to my room where we would get ready. What i didn't expect was walking in on jamie topless. The moment i stepped in i looked at jamie. As i assumed his pack was there and his shorts hung loose on his hips. He looked up to me pulling a top on.

"You not ready yet?" He asked.
Omg say something. All that was running through my head is straddling him and drowning in every inch of his body. When i realised i hadn't spoken jamie chuckled noticing my gaze. I bit my lip not getting words out.

"Done staring?" he asked amused.
I played along with his teasing. "Of course not, in fact i don't think i can get enough of you" i speak quietly walking over to him. Inches from his face.
His hot breath on my neck made me shiver. He watched me carefully. We stayed like that, neither saying a word until...

"Uh guys, not to ruin this moment or anything but i want to get ready."

As if breaking a spell between them they stood back. Jamie rubs the back of his neck awkwardly and pointed to the door. "I'll meet you down there" He whispers.
"Huh yea, yea" i murmur stepping out the way as he leaves.

Lisa walks over to me slowly, smiling. "You like him"
"What?" What is with this question so much.
"You like jamie!" She smiles even wider.
"That's crazy, we have been friends for years"
"Whatever you say" she smirks.

After getting myself ready in black skinny jeans, a pink casual top that read 1949 with black boots i curled my hair pinning my fringe back.

"You look pretty" Lisa whispers.
"Come on lets get you a boy" she blushes again.
I gave her a pink flowered skirt, white top and pink pumps i put her hair in a bun and curled her bangs.

The clothes were ok to wear in the fields as was her hair with it up. It was perfect.
I gave her a mirror. She smiles and looks to the ground. "Make up would make me prettier."

I lifted her chin. "Nothing is better than natural beauty. It's who you really are. Be proud. Don't worry you look beautiful" she smiled again and I pulled her to the kitchen.

When we entered Lisa kept playing with her skirt nervously and pulled her hand away. "Confidence"

When we got there jamie, danny,max, Julie,jared,mel, Ian and wanda were already eating. There was a spare seat beside jamie and one opposite max. Like that's a surprise.

I walked in first catching the attention of everyone but jamie. "Morning" i chirp wrapping my arms around his neck from behind making him jump. I laughed as did everyone on the table.

"Come on jamie. Letting people Sneak up on you? You are really losing your touch bro" jared chuckles.

I hugged jamie and then sat beside him. Quite close actually. Once he saw me properly he wouldn't stop. "Aww is jamie speechless?" Jared mocks.
"Leave him alone" mel defends hitting him.

Jamie still didn't stop till i touched his knee. "Jamie, you ok?" I ask.
"Uhh yea, sorry" wanda watched us closely and smiled.

"Uh, morning" A shy voice says in front of me. Lisa stood there nervously once again playing with her skirt.
I wanted to laugh at everyone's reaction. I swear max's mouth hit the ground. A fork dropped on a plate and it echoed it was that funny.

Danny also looked gob smacked except a different reaction to max. He looked to max and smacked him. "Dude, stop drooling over of my sister" she blushed at the remark as max rubbed his head. Returning to his senses.

"Lisa what are you doing?" Danny sounded agitated.
"Oh come now danny, doesn't she look hot" Julie smiled pulling her down.

"You planned this didn't you?" Jamie whispered into my ear his hot breath once again making me shiver.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I just thought getting dressed up a little will cheer her up from last nights events" i played innocent.
"I didn't mean her"
The thought of him so close just made me want to kiss him on his soft lips. "Stop it"i shout at myself.
i bit my lower lip trying to stop the thoughts. He's my best friend for heavens sake.

"Well, lookie here jamie. Looks like you will have to keep her on a tight leash." Ian teased.

"She is not an animal"wanda hit him. "Is there a rule that you gotta hit men".
"Only if they are stupid or have nasty thoughts running through their heads."
"So pretty much all the time" mel states.

"Lisa!" Danny yells standing up. What's going on? They didn't speak.
The room goes silent.
"What?" She whispers.
"What's wrong danny?" Jeb walks over and asks.
He just stared at Lisa angrily. Oh they are reading thoughts.
She huffed, stood up and stormed out. Danny sighs and sits down playing with his food. He looked like he was carrying something heavy on his shoulders and it pained him.

"I'll go talk to her" mel says leaving. "Dude what was that about?" Max demands.
"You stay away from her" he points accusingly and storms off too.
"What did i do?"
"Uh oh danny knows" i was about to follow him but Ian stopped me. "Let him cool off first" i sigh and sit back down. Its going to be another Long day.
