Host 2 - Jamie's Story

End

For days we had faced this land. We were so dehydrated that when I noticed greenry I thought It was a mirage. But I came to realise it wasn't. And where there's life there's water. We had a small distance to go when people began walking out from the woodland. Rushed and in groups. Again I thought I was imagining it.

"I'm not the only one seeing alot of people, am I?" Mark asked curiously.

"No," I told him.

Pushing through the crowd was a small group. Each with astonishment and curiosity on their faces but mostly surprise.

It was the gang with the kids. Thank god they're safe. "Mel..." I muttered.

"Awww a baby..." Alicia slurs and falls face down.

Jared rushes over. "Everyone get water quickly. And any fruits you can find!"he orders picking alicia up. Others came to help while others left. Mel passed jack over to wanda as she to help me. I lent on her for a bit of support.

"Oh, Mr bossy boots is the leader now", I say squeakily. I swear I looked drunk. I turn to mel. " How you been?"

"I've been fine. The real question is where have you been?"

"I've been over there far...far away. And ive been in, and in, out..."I made gestures with my hands. "In and out. ..in and out... in and out..."

"Ok I get it. Does anyone Have water!" Mel calls out.

"And in and out. ..and shake it all about, you do the hocus pokey and you spin around that's what it's all about."

" What?" Mel looked at me confused like I'd gone out of my mind.

In my mind I knew what I said made no sense and what made it worse I started singing. I tried again. " and then boom!"
I screamed. " We ran and car broke so walked here".

Just as I'd finished water was thrusted into my hand and I drank greedily. Once empty I felt much better. I looked a still concerned mel. "Sorry. My mind went woooo,".I giggled.

"You can say that again haha," Alicia mumbled laying on the floor. She smiled at the sky and if I was being honest she looked high.

"You ok alicia?"

"I'm goooooo. .. she slurs, then hiccups before laughing while others try to give her water.

"Wooo this water is gooooood,"Mark says drawing my attention to him as he took his rotten top off and squirted water over himself.

"Woh there mark. Ladies are around put it back on sugar," saphire snorted.

"Honestly you sound like you all lost it", Ian comments.

"You try our situation and let's see how sane you stay," I muttered.

"Your right, sorry".

"Are you feeling better?," wanda asked.

"Much better. Thanks." I tucked into an apple.

"What did you mean, boooom? "Jared asked curiously.

"Like, actual booom. She blew up the whole place" Mark explains.

"Yea it's what saved us all and now we don't have to worry about the seeker anymore. The explosion did it's job."

"It was so pretty,"Alicia adds. Everyone looks at her strangely then to Me.

"Emma!" a voice called. I turned to see a young lady with long blonde locks. It couldn't be the little girl I once knew. It's only been two years.

She ran towards and hugged me hard. "Lisa", I whisper.

She pulled back." I knew you weren't dead. I knew it. No one believed me but I knew."

"Yes you did", I smile and put a hand to her cheek. "Thanks for believing in me."

"Thankyou for coming home.", she pulled me into another hug. I held her close.

"Oh I almost forgot,"She pulls away once more and goes to get wrist.

I stop her before she does. "No",she looks at me strangely. "I want you to have it." It was clear in her eyes that she had gotten attached to it. "See it as a friendship bracelet. Whenever you need me. I'll be there."

"Oh thankyou emma. Thankyou."
Another hug before I looked to the group.

"And jamie?..." I whispered worried.

They watched me carefully which is when I noticed a figure in the corner of my eye. I looked to the side hesitantly when I was met with a brown shaggy haired boy. His hair was dishevelled. His face was a little rough showing he hadn't shaved in some time but the eyes were the same. The same blue eyes.

Waiting no time I run into his arms. He remains still In shock. But gradually pulls me in

I wrap my arms around his neck as his hands go around my waist.
"I've missed you," he whispers.
"I've glad you're ok," I kiss him passionately. My hands running through his hair.
We we pulled back I looked into his gorgeous blue eyes.

" I love you.."

"I love you too.."

We share another kiss when he whispers against my cheek. "Welcome home".

We'll that's it guys. I had this ending planned for weeks but was a little busy. I hoped you liked my first completed story. I'd like to hear what you all thought.
