I think the person holding me was talking in my ear but I couldn't hear them, my head was spinning and my body was pounding from the pain. My eye sight goes blurry and I go limp in the arms wrapped around me.

Someone, anyone, save me. Save me from this world I live in. Save me.

[Lin's POV]

After seeing Olivia, I went back to sit with some of the cast of my musical Hamilton. The table included Daveed, Leslie, Anthony, Oak, Renee, Philipa, and Jazzy.

"Who was that?" Daveed asks me as I sit back down.

"Do you remember the girl I told you about the other day? The one who tried to steal at the store?" I responded. "That's her."

"Well I guess she's leaving now." He says pointing behind me.

I turn around and see a man grabbing Olivia's wrist and leading her out of the restaurant. She looks in pain, like he is holding her too tight. She looks back at me then turns away in embarrassment.

She told me he wasn't abusing her. I can't create a scene other wise it will be all over the news. I decide to believe her and not say anything to the man.

We finally are served our lunch and eat while talking about what we were all going to do tonight since we didn't have a show.

The entire time I was thinking about Olivia. What if I had just let her slip away again, what if she really is being abused by those people she is with, it will be my fault if anything happens to her.

She had more bruises, fresh ones. She told me that she was a klutz, but why can't I believe her? She probably told that other woman that were with that she fell or got roughed up in a sport. She probably bought it too.

"Lin, you ready to go?" Anthony asks, breaking my thoughts.

"Oh, uh ya." I said, slipping money into the receipt one of the waiters dropped in front of me.

All of us walk outside ad start heading towards our parked cars outside of the Rodgers just a block away.

All of a sudden I hear loud running footsteps behind me. I turn around to see what it is and see Olivia sprinting down the sidewalk. She turns her head around to look at a car right beside her, a man is yelling her name through the window.

I have to do something, I can't let her get away this time.

As she comes closer, her head still turned, I stop her with my arms and wrap them around her body holding her back so that she can't continue to run.

She is crying, her body shaking in fear, she has dark marks on her face and red scratches all over her neck. Her dress has a rip on her stomach exposing dark, bruised skin.

I whisper in her ear trying to get her to calm down but she keeps crying. All of a sudden she goes limp in my arms. She is still breathing but unconscious.

The man in the car, who is also the man she was at the restaurant with, begins to park his car on the side of the street.

I pick Olivia up, she lays across my arms, and I quickly walk across the street and enter the Rodgers theater. My friends following behind me.

"Lin! What is happening?" Anthony yells at me as I run with Olivia in my arms to one of the dressing rooms down the hall.

"Lock the doors!" I yell to them.

I think Oak stays behind and locks them but everyone else continues to follow me.

I just took Olivia from her foster dad, oh God. What is happening?

I lay her down on a couch inside a dressing room, I think it is Phillipa's.

"Lin.. Explain. Now." Phillipa says. Everyone surrounds me looking for an answer.

Here goes nothing.

Hello everyone! I don't know how I feel about this chapter, is it good? Bad? Let me know (:

What do you think John is going to do? Let them keep Olivia or tell the police and risk being charged for abuse or any other ideas? I don't even know what I am going to do yet, haha.
