"You were amazing, tonight." He says quietly. I smile and he reaches up and tucks a piece of hair behind my ear.
He cups my cheek and smiles at me. I don't move, wanting to enjoy this moment.

[Olivia's POV]
"I'm so sorry I couldn't make it to your show this weekend, I feel terrible." Laura says to me as we get up and leave our math class together.
"Don't worry about it, it wasn't a big thing anyways." I say.
"I'll make sure to go to your next one." She says with a smile. "So how are things with you and Ben?"
"I broke up with him after the concert. I just realized that he wasn't for me." I say.
I think back to the moment I broke up with him. I had to do it, I deserve more than an abusive boyfriend. I deserve someone like Anthony, maybe I will find someone like him. Ben was so angry with me, I still have the bruises all of my chest from where he kicked me. At least it's over, no more pain.
"No! I thought you guys were perfect for each other!" She exclaims. "You never stay with anyone for very long, why is that? Do you like someone?"
Maybe?
"No. I just don't want to be with the wrong person I guess." I shrug. "So how was your college visit?"
"Amazing! I think I'm-" Her voice was cut off as a loud noise rang out.
"Oh my god, was that a-" Several gunshots ring out cutting Laura off again.
The students in the hallway begin running in every direction, frantically trying to get into a classroom. I am frozen in my shoes, not able to move.
