thirty one

I took her up to Olivia's room but she wasn't there, a note said that she had gone to a coffee shop. I sent Lexi on her way there.

This is great. Olivia will finally have someone that isn't in the cast to hang out with.

[Olivia's POV]

"Oh my god.. Lexi?" I say, walking towards her.

"Olivia!" She exclaims, running towards me. We both hug each other tightly.

"What are you doing here? How.." I am speechless. This is seriously crazy, what are the odds?

"I read on the news that the creator of a musical adopted a kid so I looked into it more out of curiosity and saw that it was you! Gosh I haven't seen you since your parents.. Oh, I'm sorry." She says.

"It's ok, I'm so happy to see you! Do you still live in that one house?" I asked.

"Well I did but I moved out last year, now I live in the city, my apartment isn't too far from here." She says.

"Oh right, I always forget how much older you are." I say laughing.

We sit down in the back together and catch up. She tells me that she is in her second year of college, she is studying journalism.

"Gosh, you should come to a party with me tonight! It's in an hour. We will have to sneak in because we're underage but that won't be a problem, I do it all the time." She says.

"Ya sure!" I say.

"Ok, let's go to the theater so you can change and then my apartment so I can too." She says.

We walk back to the theater together and up to my room. My dog is sleeping on my bed, she literally sleeps all day, I feed her quickly and then go into my closet.

I put on a skin tight black dress that is quite short on me, it has a low cut revealing my chest. Jazz picked it out and made me get it. I put on a pair of cobalt blue heels and a silver necklace. I throw my hair up in a sleek ponytail and grab a piece of paper and pen to write a note saying where I am going.

I write down that I am just hanging out with Lexi at her house because I know that Lin would never approve of me sneaking into an illegal party. I feel bad for lying but it's just a party, he will never find out.

We quickly take a cab to Lexi's place and she puts on a tight red dress and black heels and we head out.

The club isn't too far from her apartment so we walk there. My feet are killing me when we arrive, I have never worn heels for more than 5 minutes.

Lexi and I sneak into the party behind a big group of people, nobody questions us.

The music is loud and the room is packed. It smells of alcohol. Lexi gets us both a drink and I sip it. A bitter taste fills me mouth, and my throat burns as I swallow. I have never had alcohol before.

I finish my drink and head to the dance floor with Lexi.

We have a few more drinks, my mind is buzzing and I am having an amazing time. Lexi dares me to take shots with her and I agree.

The shot burns but it is quick and makes me laugh. My chest is warm and fluttery. I do two more, Lexi paying for the drinks. I drag her back onto the dance floor.

I am having so much fun when suddenly someone taps my shoulder.

I turn around and see a very familiar face looking at me with confusion written all over them.

"Anthony?!" I yell.
