Save Me

fifty nine

We called Spencer's mom to come get us, the show was starting soon so the cast couldn't get us. They dropped me off at the theater and I quietly made my way up to my room. I thought about Spencer, I hope that her parents will react well to her news.

[Olivia's POV]

I walk through the theater, I can hear the soft murmur of people talking in their seats. The cast are all in costume talking to each other on stairs and all through out the halls. They say hi to me as I walk by them, I smile and wish them all good luck. Their show starts soon so I quickly run up to my room to get out of their way.

Before going to my room I go into Oak's dressing room and steal some snacks that he hid. I was starving but it's too late to go into the kitchen, I will eat dinner later.

I go to my room and chill out for a little bit before getting started on school work. I work on that for a while, the show starts and I can hear the music vibrating throughout the building.

I didn't have that much work, just some math problems and government reading and notes. I finished and grabbed the book I was currently reading which was 'The Age Of Innocence'. I was passing page 50 as the show ended. I continued reading until I heard a knock at my door.

"Come in." I said, the door opened revealing Lin.

"Hey sweetheart, how was shopping?" He asks, sitting on my bed.

"You mean.. Did Spencer do anything bad to me, right?" I question.

"Yes.." He laughed and said.

"It was good, Spencer was great. She's actually going to tell the principal the truth about everything so that's good." I tell him.

"She is slowly winning back my trust, and doing that will give her a few more points." He said with a smile.

"What are you reading?" He asks, I lift up my book to show him. "Oh wow, a classic! I didn't know you like those."

"Ya, I love the way they are written." I say.

He leaves after a while to go home. The cast always comes up in groups after they are out of costume and says goodnight to me before they leave the theater, some finish faster than others so more people come in and leave every few minutes. The last ones left are Voltaire, Carleigh, Andrew, and Gregory. We talk for a little while until they all say goodnight and leave. It is about 10:00 when I get a phone call. It's Spencer.

"Hey, um... I know it's really late but I didn't know who else to call." She says, I can hear the sounds of the city in the background of her call.

"Spencer, are you ok? Where are you?" I ask. It sounds like she's crying.

"I'm outside the theater.." She says.

"Ok, I'll be down in a minute." I say, I hang up the phone and race down the stairs and out the door to find Spencer with a duffle bag in her arms, a backpack on her back, and tears in her eyes.

"My parents kicked me out. I have no where to go." She says. My heart drops, I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her, letting her cry into my shoulder.
