"You still have me for two months." I say.
"Not enough."
____________
[Anthony's POV]
I let out a deep sigh, knowing that these two months will fly by in the blink of an eye. An entire year without Olivia is like a year without sunshine. A human simply cannot live without the sun, and I can't live without mine.
I have to learn to enjoy each moment with Olivia. We've made so many great memories together, and there's so many more to come. I look over my shoulder to Olivia, who is half asleep in my arms. She's so beautiful, and I can't explain it; the way she can radiate a room that's completely dark makes me lose myself. She deserves the world, which I intend to give her in some shape or form.
I gently stroke her soft hair as I lay my chin on her head. I look up at the stars that probably shine for her, and realize that we share them. When she's gone for an entire year, we still share the sky, the stars, and the clouds. I would spot a heart shaped constellation and give her a call, wondering if she'd seen the same one. Then I would tell her that the heart made me think of her for the eightieth time that day, and she would melt. Wouldn't it be the perfect tale?
I feel my eyelids get heavy, and soon enough, sleep takes over.
[Olivia's POV]
I wake up with rain pouring down on me and the scent of fresh bacon that I assume is from inside. I look around and notice that Anthony isn't anywhere to be seen, so he's probably cooking. I gather all of the blankets and head inside, drenched, to see Anthony cooking a huge breakfast for the two of us. I drop the blankets, then sneak into the kitchen.
"Good morning," I say as I grab his torso from behind. He turns around and plants a kiss on my forehead, then lets out a chuckle.
"Baby, you're soaked! What happened?"
"Well, someone decided to leave me outside in the pouring rain while I was asleep." I say sarcastically.
"I'm sorry love, I didn't know it was going to rain. The sky was clear when I woke up." Anthony replies as he turns off the stove.
"Come on, we're getting you some dry clothes," He says, scooping me up into his arms. We head towards his room, and I'm set down on his bed.
"Okay, do you want a sweatshirt, flannel, or t-shirt?" Anthony yells from the closet.
"Sweatshirt please!" I reply as my voice cracks.
"And do you want sweatpants, spandex, or sweat shorts?" He yells once again.
"Hmm... Spandex."
Seconds later, Anthony emerges from the closet with a pair of Nike Pro's and a King's College Dept. of Drama sweatshirt in hand.
"Here you go my love, get changed and let me know when you're done. I'll put your wet clothes in the dryer." He says, leaving the room so I can get dressed.
I take off my top and put the sweatshirt on over my sports bra, which isn't wet at all. The same goes for the spandex and my underwear. I head over to his bathroom and brush my hair, then put it up in a messy bun. Once I'm all finished, I call Anthony in and he throws my clothes into the dryer.
We walk back to the kitchen, and I notice that the table is nicely set. Anthony has a stack of pancakes on each of our plates, along with some bacon on the side.
"Here you go," He says, pulling out a chair for me.
"You're too kind, sir." I say as I sit down. He sits across from me and all of a sudden starts laughing.
"I see what you did there, Miranda."
We spend the rest of our morning laughing at each other's corny jokes and making endless memories.
I'm in love with Anthony Ramos, and nothing will prevent me from embracing it.
