The FBI officers told us that Anthony and I should go home for the night. They would continue working and would call right away if they found any leads.

I was hesitant but finally agreed. I needed to see my son.

That night I prayed. I prayed that Anthony would be ok, I prayed that Olivia would stay alive, and lastly I prayed that we would find her. I have to save her.

[Olivia's POV]

I spent the night trying to find a way out of the ropes. I pulled and twisted my wrists, trying to be freed. My wrists were burning from the frayed rope rubbing against them but I kept trying.

The house usually had slight vibrations from the TV that John's friend was constantly watching. But now the house is silent, which means that everyone was asleep. This was my chance to try and escape.

I kept rubbing my wrists around in the ropes hoping that they would begin to loosen.

After what feel like forever, I felt them begin to let up a little. I kept going and was finally able to slide my left hand out which then freed my right hand. I wasn't tied up anymore, there was no turning back. If I was caught by them now, they would kill me with no hesitation.

I found a window on the basement that rest right above the ground outside. I tried to open it but it wouldn't budge, I wasn't tall enough to reach it.

I grabbed one of the boxes laying around and stood on it. It gave me a better angle and I was able to push the window open after a few minutes of trying.

I hoisted myself up onto the window sill and then crawled out of the small open area.

I was free.

The moon was beginning to fall in the sky which meant I didn't have a lot of time before morning came and everyone would wake up and notice that I left.

I began to run as fast as I could until I was several blocks away. That's when I remembered another problem, I had no idea where I was.

I trusted my gut and went the direction I think I came through the other day when John brought me here. If I went the wrong way I could always ask someone for directions in the morning.

I kept walking until the sun was beginning to rise. It was probably 6:30. I would have made it to the city already if I had gone the right direction.

I saw a fast food restaurant up ahead, I walked in to ask what time we were in and which direction New York City was.

Apparently my gut was completely wrong and I had gone in the opposite direction I needed to go.

I continued walking, I began to run when I was getting close to where Timothy's house was. I sprinted through the neighborhood when I saw a familiar car up ahead. I couldn't remember whose it was.

It pulled over and the doors opened revealing Lin and Anthony.

I started sprinting towards them but right when I was about to hug them but a gun shout rang out and I stumbled to the ground. Everything went dark.

I woke up with a gasp, the familiar cement underneath me, the ropes wrapped tightly around my wrists, I was still here. It was a dream. I had escaped and was shot, but it was a dream. Even though I was shot in the dream, I wish that it was real. Being dead is better than being stuck down here.

Have you ever had a dream where you just desperately wanted it to be real because of how good it was. Well take that feeling times 100 right now. I began to cry. I would never get out of here!

Why did I wake up? I never wake up in the middle of the night. I heard footsteps above me. Maybe that is what woke me up.

All of a sudden I hear a gunshot go off.

Hello everyone. Just call me Aaron burr sir because I am being seriously evil with that cliffhanger!

But I won't be horrible to you, the next chapter will be up within the hour (:
