Chapter 14

Incase you guys are a bit confused, Tao is in heaven :)

Tao

As I walk towards the shining room I hear a deep melodic voice singing softly in perfect pitch,

"Across the mountains

Across the seas

There's a place which I call mine

It's filled with what I call peace

It's filled with all the time

But I'll be happy to share that place with who ever does believe

So........oh hello Tao, how are we today."

" Not so good lord, you see, I'm worried about Mele"

"Ahh yes, she is having a hard time at the moment isn't she, but did you know all good things come to those who wait?"

"Really? Does that mean you have a plan for her?"

"My child, I have a plan for everyone, even your sister Selei."

"But I thought because she's with the devil, there's nothing you can do!"

I said confused at what God was saying.

He laughed heartily, "My sweet child, I love your sister very much but she didn't believe, that is why she isn't here with us now, but I do have a plan for her and for Mele"

"What God, what is the plan?"

"Why don't you see for your self" he said gesturing to the door.

I turned to see my completely confused and puzzled sister, Selei. Standing at the door with 4 grand looking angels that were smiling down at me.

Selei's confused expression immediately melted off her face as she saw me staring in awe at her.

"TAO! I thought you were on earth?!"

She screeched as she rushed towards me with her arms open, however she stopped just as she was about to reach me.

"Where's Mele?" Was all she said.

Mele

"Take me home" I say, sobbing wildly. "Yes I know Mele, that's where we're going" Cale answers however that wasn't the answers I was looking for.

"NO! Take me to Tao and Selei! They're my home"

He sighed, "Shhhh Mele, we're going home"

I squirmed as he picked me up carrying me bridal style but I soon found myself getting lulled into sleepiness. "Cale, can you 'yawn' promise me"

"I promise you Mele"

And It wasn't long till I feel asleep, the whole time thinking of home.....my home, my siblings.

Cale

I shifted Mele a little as I climbed the TSCH front stairs.

"Thank goodness you've found her!" Meredith screeched in fake happiness.

"Shush Meredith, she's asleep!" I say crossly. "Oh of course...right"

Mele stirred a little as I placed her down on her bed, however she didn't wake.

I sighed as I stroked her sweet head. Her cute little eyelashes fluttered as what ever she must be dreaming about makes her happy. Her sweet dark brown curls spread out on the pillow, some times you forget how young she really is.

I continue to watch her sleep. Ever so lightly stroking her hair.

"We'll you don't look like a pedo at all"

Says a unfamiliar voice.

I turn to expect to see a selfish brat that isn't supposed to be here but instead I turn to see my uncle.

"I won't do it" I say to him, "Cale, if you know something about her you would tell us yes?"

"I promised her"

"Oh come on Cale, everyone knows it's only a kid promise, those don't count"

"But they do!" I said now realising why so many of the promises made to me never worked out.

"Just tell us what she said!"

"NO!"

"Come ON!"

"Get lost!"

"Cale, there is no need for that sort of behaviour towards me!"

"Uncle, she trust's me, there is nothing you can do to change my mind on this" I said in a hushed voice so she wouldn't wake.

He glared at me and stalked out of the room.

I sighed in relief and gazed down a the little sleeping beauty, if only she knew how much trouble she causes.

Selei

My heart beater about a hundred times a minute as my brother took his time to answer.

"Tao, where is Mele?" I ask again.

Not much happens, its just to fill up the space.
