Chapter 18

Selei

I'm now more nervous than I ever have been, all those weeks preparing for this day, although I know what I'm doing, there are so many things that could go wrong.

And I haven't been on earth for a good 6 months, maybe more.

I look to my right and see God smiling down at me, I then look behind me, the whole of heaven have come to watch.

"Welcome heavenly creatures, we are gathered here today to celebrate the very first ....... person.......to have entered heaven that is leaving to go back to earth. Well, except for my Son of course. Angels of light are here to give these important gifts to you, as a way of saying thankyou." God says

I tremble a little as 4 triumphant angels step forward.

There the same ones that collected me from hell.

"To Selei Starling, we give you the bangles of light, trust, love and peace, these bracelets will protect you from any harm that the earth beings can do you to" the first angel says sliding the bracelets onto my arm.

I smile at him and look down at my bracelets, each one is a silver but has a glowing light around them.

As I twirl them around a different colour appears on each, a pink, blue, yellow and green. And a diamonds sparkle out. I gasp and look up at God, "these are really mine?" I ask

"Yes, they're  for you, and you don't have to worry about them growing to small, because they grow with you. But you must always wear them, they are what is going to protect you"

Puzzled I look at him confused "what wants to hurt me?"

He smiles sadly,

"There are many creatures out there that would love to harm, you are the only see-able creature that connects heaven to earth, you are going to make things right where ever you go"

I smile at the thought.

"But this next gift is how you will be able to reach us, apart from praying, this gift is what you need to protect, this necklace gives the owner immediate entry to earth when spoken the correct words and being worn, if this gets into the hands of the enemy, heaven could go down in flames"

God says in a serious voice, as he passes me the necklace.

It's a bright light for the chain and white wings as the charm. I sigh in pleasure, "Selei, if you are ready, you are aloud to leave at any second now"

I look up at god and hug him tight, I wave good bye to the angels who have tears in their eyes and then I turn to Tao,

"Tao, I know I'm not the perfect sister, I know I never will be, but I love you and I'll miss you." I say holding him tight.

"I love you too Selei, I'm sorry I'm a jerk" I smile and kiss him on the cheek.

I wave to the creatures if heaven and nod to the gate keepers who open the gates.

And as I'm a bout to step forward out of this realm, a frantic sounding angel comes running up, " GOD! Mele's trying to kill herself!" he shouts and the crowd gasps. I Feel all hope I had drain out of my body, God frowns but then produces a little horn from his pocket, "Selei, this lets whoever on earth that you want to hear, listen to what you have to say"

I knew what I had to do, grabbing the horn I whispered

No Mele, not now

I just hoped she heard me.
