Filiki
I heard footsteps coming towards my office and although they sounded human, you could never be too sure.
So I hid under my desk, and waited for whatever it was to reach me.
'KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK' I hear being played on my door. I'm shivering as the door is pushed open. "Uncle?" I hear my nephew say. Sighing I sit up on my chair but the colour drains from my face when I see the shadow of some one else.
"Uncle, are you okay?" Cale says
"I'm fine, just a little cold" I say pretending to cough.
"Well you have a visitor" He says looking extremely suspicious.
"And who might it be?" I say trying to compose myself.
His face brightens as well as softens, "She comes to bring you a message"
And then she walks in, and although it might sound very creepy, she was beautiful like a angel or fairy not to mention young, about Cale's age. Now I understood that look on his face
"Well hello there, What's your name?" I say using my extra nice voice that's usually reserved for my favourite children. She smiles at me and says "How has your night been Filiki? You look like you've seen a ghost! Or should I say a lion." As she finishes the sentence her eyes flash a rainbow colour.
I quiver at the word but then my brain decides to make a million and one connections, "Impossible" I say after awhile, "There supposed to be extinct, about 356 years ago"
She raises a eyebrow and says, "You can't get rid of me that easily Filiki, I thought you of all people would think that" She says solemnly.
I frown at her words, "I don't believe we have officially met, My names Selei......I believe you know my sister"
My eyes open wide and I feel the blood rush from my head. "Impossible" I say again, and then the darkness closes in.
