Tris's POV:

Erudite HQ is...... Well, lets just go with really, really annoying. That is the thought that runs through my head, and my head hurts. It throbs just thinking about how much it hurts. I just can't think. I start to  feel slightly uncomfortable, so I sit up.

I'm in a poorly lit dark room with absolutely nothing. It only contains cement walls and a door. I thought there was no one in the room with me until someone grabs my arm from behind. I forgot to look behind me when I was checking the room. I turn my head around and see a girl with dark hair. I turn around to face her in order to identify her. I know I have seen her before I just don't know how.

"Tris?" The person asks. I just stare at her with that empty confused look. I know that I was in initiation with her, but I can't remember her.

"Please tell me you are okay. That guard just kind of threw you in here, took of you handcuffs and left." She tells me. I'm so confused.

"Uh" I can't remember what I was going to say even though it was important. My head is throbbing with pain. I lift my hand up to put it on my head, and feel a giant welt. I bring my hand back down to my face to see that I was bleeding at one point. It looks dry so I don't think it's bleeding anymore.

"What happened to your head?" The girl asks me. I just stare blankly at her. Then, a little flash back plays in my head.

I feel ice cold metal touch my chin, slowly raising my face. I look this man in the eyes and see that they are colder than ice. His facial hair is just slightly filled in, giving him a dark shadow on his face. His facial expression turns impatient. He raises the gun that was holding up my chin. He lowers the gun, making contact to my head, and sending me into a dark abyss.

"I think someone hit me in the head with a gun." The statement comes out more like a question. I stare at her with an empty look again.

"You might have a concussion, because by just looking at you, you don't look like you remember your name. What's my name?" She questions me almost like a quiz.

"Uh.....Um.." I snap my fingers to attempt to remember her name. "Uh.... Chris.....ummm...Christine....Oh I know uhhhhh...Christina. Something like that." I am almost shouting now. Saying the name brings back all of the initiation, and how I shot her boyfriend. Lucky me, I'm remembering things I don't want to remember but forgetting things I need to remember. "Where is the other chick? Don't even ask me her name, because I don't know." I say at her.

"She got taken to another room I guess." Christina answers my question. Then an image of a boy flashes through my head. He has symbols of each faction tattooed onto his back. The name comes to me like a slap in the face. How could I forget?

"Where is Tobias?" I question sort of expecting her to know all the answers. I need to know Tobias is ok.

"To be honest," she states. "I just don't know." I sigh to that answer and just think about how long we are going to be in here. Then, I think about how I need to stop thinking, because my head is killing me. It is going to be a while before I'm let out of here, if I'm let out at all.

Tobias POV:

I sit across in my cement prison as far away from Ryan as humanly possible. It has been about an hour since I saw his full name on the necklace. Ryan Eaton, the image of the name pressed into the thin metal of the necklace, burns into my mind. This is ridiculous.
