Tris POV:

I have no idea how Four will manage to get all of this work done in the small amount of time we have left. He sent Brecken and Caleb off to work on the serum problem. Brecken volunteered to go, and then Brecken forced Caleb to go with him. Probably, because Caleb is one of the smartest people here. We are going to meet them at them at the event. They will bring the coffins to the van we are going to steal. Four put our Rebel Informant for the city on the roof. The informant has a sniper rifle and is not supposed to use it unless all fails. The informant is our eyes, because he has a vantage point. Brecken also had us all hooked up in equipment, so that the informant could speak to us. For the rest of us, we sit in a back alley. Right around the corner is the armoured van that is supposed to take the bodies to the morgue. If all goes as planed, that van will not have dead people in it, and will not be making it to the morgue. We all stand lined up against the wall, ready to act. The plan is to kill the guards and take their uniforms, then sneak out of the city with the van.

"We are a go. The birds are in the nest." The earpiece in my ear buzzes. It is always great when he informant is sending gibberish. I turn to my left where Four is and raise my arms in the classic what does that mean gesture. He does the same thing back to me. Not even Four knows what language the guy is speaking. It is too bad the ear pieces are only one way, or else I would have something to say to this guy.

I turn to Ryan who is on my left. "Wha.." I start to ask him what the informant means. Ryan puts is finger to his mouth and then points around the corner with his other hand.

This whole thing frustrates me to death. We have been standing here for five minutes, waiting for Ryan to go. Soon, it will be to late to do anything. I turn to my left again and peer around Four. Uriah looks really frustrated, and Christina looks the same as Uriah.

I pull my gun out of my waistband and check to make sure the safety is off. I then reach into my deep jacket pocket to find my silencer. I twist the silencer into the barrel and make sure it is on tight. I then pull the top back to push a bullet into the chamber. It makes a quiet click, but I know that the soldiers by the van heard it. That was the point. If Ryan will not do anything, than I will.

I can see Ryan's death glare, but I choose to ignore it. I hear the first guard walk around the corner. The look on his face when he sees us there is a look of sheer surprise. I don't get much more time than that to look at him, because I have already put a bullet in his brain before he said anything to give us away.

His limp body falls forward and Ryan. Out of instinct, Ryan catches the dead body. Ryan moves away from the corner as he drags the body to where Uriah is. I look back at Uriah, who is looking at the body at his feet. We had arranged earlier, that Uriah, Four, Ryan, Christina and I were going to change into the dead guards clothes. That way we look like Republic soldiers.

"The shot has fell, make your strike Alpha." My ear bud buzzes in my ear. I look Ryan again who looks like he has no idea what just happened. Then, I hear the roar of a crowd that sits just a block away from us.

"Welcome to our special Evening!" A voice screams into a microphone. "We have as promised, our three criminals. The first is Marcus Eaton. The one who attempted to sneak people out of a government project, murdered our soldiers, abused his son, is the suspected leader of a Rebel force, and conversing to a Rebel. He is sentenced to death by The Republic government." The man pauses. I look at Tobias. It appears like the Tobias I know has left, and in his place a shell that looks like Tobias. He takes out his gun and prepares it for the battle we face.

At this sound another soldier walks around the corner. Right when I'm about to shoot, Tobias does instead. I walk up to his dead body and drag him to the back. Ryan has to change into this guards uniform, because he is next.
