The italics in this chapter stand for the past, not a dream. Just a heads up.
And the re-disclaimer from chapter one(but not exactly the same): I don't own the following characters: Tobias, Tris, Caleb, Peter, Christina, Tori, Will, Marcus, Jeanine, Uriah, and the other characters that are in the Divergent Series. Some of the concepts of this fanfic is expanded from the Divergent series that Veronica Roth wrote.
Ryan on the other hand, I made up. I might make up some more characters too.

Tobias POV:
The sick grin on Peter's face is going to send me over the edge. I'm done with him, and his games. It is all a game to Peter, and he will do whatever it takes to win. He walks over to me and bends down, so that he is eye to eye with me. His cold dark meaningless eyes go with his grin.
"We have some catching up to do." He says grinning at me. I open my mouth to say something, but decide I would tick him off more by staying quiet. I close my mouth and this angers Peter. He takes his finger and jabs it in my bullet wound. I wince, but I hold in my scream that is creeping up my throat. The fresh blood drips out of my wound. "Hmmmm." he mutters.
He takes his finger out and walks over to the TV. He presses a button and I see Caleb picking a syringe out of a black box. There is a large bandage around the hand I shot him in. "You two are going to tell us what you know, or Tris dies." Peter's smile is giant. "The serum is the worst we have. It will take thirty minutes to run it's course. If you do not comply before the thirty minutes is over, Tris dies." Peter explains.
Peter is just sick. I will kill him one day for this. Caleb drops the syringe into Tris's neck and her eyes close. I hope she can fight this serum off, because it's the battle of her life. Right her. Right now.
Peter starts an alarm on his watch, and looks at us. "You better start talking. Time is of the essence." He almost laughs.
I look at Ryan who just looks at the floor. We both know Peter wants to know about the wall, and Ryan knows the most. He just stares at the floor. At this moment a scream is filling the room. I look toward the TV.
It is in fact Tris's scream, but its not a scream like the way she screams under simulations. This is a pain scream. She is in pain. I look at Ryan again just as another blood curdling scream comes from Tris. He finally looks up from staring at the floor. He looks at the screen and frowns. He looks at me and then the screen again. " I can't say anything," Ryan looks at the floor again.
"Ryan!" I yell as the screaming continues. " Say something, please!" I plead.
There is a long awkward silence and then he looks at me with his sad eyes. "You have to understand, that I... I just can't say anything."
Peter laughs. "You two better figure this out, you have twenty minutes left." He is suddenly all serious. His face turning into a pouting face that a child would make.
Tris POV:
Pain is all I feel. Sharp pain, deep pain, throbbing pain, I feel it all. I'm screaming uncontrolably I just can't stop. I just need time to think. I need to get this under control, because I know this will kill me soon. Ah, but the pain. I can't think.
"She has fifteen minutes." I hear Caleb say. I can hear. That is a good sign.
"She can fight the serums right?" a guard asks.
