Part 43

Bri's POV

Me and Shawn stayed up in the sun room for hours just talking and laughing a lot.

Something I always love doing.

Like I love my phone but I love turning it off and just interacting with someone.

I woke up and made my bed.  It's only like 7am which is a bit early so I'm gonna go for a run.

I put black under armor shorts on.

A lululemon tank top with matching headband.

I put now free runs on and I walk into the kitchen.

Shawn is sitting there eating an apple.

"What's up" I said walking to the cabinet getting a protein bar.

"I was going to go into town before the guys wake up because I love the silence plus it helps me think about a song to write" he says

"That's so cool can I ask you a weird question" I told him

"Ask away"

"Have you ever wrote a song that's about someone else"

"I actual have" he says surprised with my question

"That's so cool" I say

"Cool?" He questions

"Ya how you can put your feeling about someone on paper and add music" I told him

"I don't even know how I do it" he says

I finish my protein bar.

"I'm going on a run need to keep my body in shape" I told him standing up and going to the garbage to throw a at my wrapper to the protein bar.

Shawn come behinds me and hugs me.

"You prefect just the way you where made" he says

"Thanks Shawn can count on you to brighten my Day" I told him.

"Peace I seriously need to go running" I told him

"Be safe no go" he says and He kisses my cheek.

(The feels I can only imagine)

I smile and walk out going on my mile run.

Shortly coming back in 6 minutes I wasn't even in the mood to switch into a bathing suit I stayed in my workout clothes I through my phone shoes and socks in my room.

I grab sunglasses.

Shawns in town and the rest are out on theater already.

I put flip flops on running to the water grabbing my life jacket.

I lap them all and drive to the gas station filling up my tank.

Afterwards I drive into the town a harbor and get off the jet ski taking the key with me and holding my life jacket in hand.

I walk up on the dock and see Shawn drinking an ice coffee facing the water watching boats come in and out

I sit next to him.

"You ok" I ask

"No" he says pulling me into him and him crying in my shoulders

"What's wrong" I ask him

"My grandma passed away" he says tears coming down his face

(Ik she really didn't just go with it)

"I'm so sorry Shawn" I say wiping the tears from his face

"It's okay" he stares at me while my hands are still on his face and he puts his hand on yen side of my face and pulls me in for a short sweet passionate kiss.

"Sorry I just needed that right now" he says

"Don't worry Shawn it's totally ok" I told him

And I kiss him to help him calm down

He takes his phone out and we take a selfie for his snap chat and he writes 'wow Shawn and bri dating who knew" and he put it on his story.

"So are you going to fly out to Canada" I ask him

"Yea I have to for the funeral it in 2 days from now" he says looking at the ground

"Would you like me to fly out with you" I ask him

"Please" he says

"I'll be right be side you" I told him

"Bri" he says

"Yes Shawn"

"Was the last funeral you went to your moms" he ask turning toward me I shake my head yes with a tear coming down my face.

Shawn wipes it away.

Come on let's go set ice cream he says.

We walk across the street to the Hershey's ice cream shop.

We both order cookie dough with whip cream hot fudge and sprinkles.

We say at the little tables inside the place.

We just talked about life.

Having a normal conversation that isn't sad but  far from what we talked about last night.
