* Killian's POV *

I woke up before Emma, unable to help my sleepy smile when I found us still wrapped around each other. It just never got old. Her hand was still on my chest, my mother's ring sparkling in the dim light of dawn on her finger exactly where it belonged. Never in my life had I felt so perfectly content, even with everything going on. I wanted nothing more than to lie there with her for the rest of time.

Her face soon scrunched into a grimace, concerning me since she was still asleep. Her nails started to dig into my back so I pulled her closer, feeling her relax with a small sigh when I kissed her lips lightly. She snuggled herself closer, moving her thigh up on my waist and kissing my neck before settling back to sleep. My smile returned when she calmed and suddenly I realized it. She really needed me just now. She trusted me even in her sleep, I made her feel safe, and that was a feeling I'd cherish for the rest of my life.

"Mmm," she groaned almost an hour later as she started to wake, her eyes finding mine as soon as they opened. "Hey... were you watching me sleep or something?"

"Perhaps," I smirked a bit, kissing her sleep swollen lips gently. "You're profoundly adorable when you sleep. Very peaceful."

"Shut up," she said but smiled and blushed as she kissed me again. "You're profoundly creepy when you watch me sleep."

"Oh hush," I laughed lightly, making her giggle as I kissed her once again. "Admit it, you find me endearing when I do things like that."

"You are rather adorable yourself," she sighed, rolling her eyes and letting her smile return when my lips met hers. "This whole waking up together thing is fun, we should do it more often."

"Every day for the rest of your life, Swan," I smirked again though I was quite serious, brushing my nose against hers. "Have I told you how much I love you yet today? Or how thrilled I am you said yes?"

"I love you, too," she smiled widely, sliding her arms up around my neck to pull herself closer to me so there was only enough space between us to talk. "And I'm very happy you asked, finally. I've been waiting for you to ask since Camelot."

"Well you scare easy, Swan," I teased her a bit. "I had to bide my time until we at least had a house of our own, and then there was the whole dying deal. I did it as soon as I could without scaring you off."

"You could never scare me off," she said quietly, closing the small gap between us and taking me off guard with a deep kiss. I immediately held her tighter, never passing up an opportunity to kiss her like that. She let out a soft moan and I had to fight to hold myself back, both of us utterly lost in that moment until we heard a scream from downstairs.

I followed her at a run down the stairs, both of us only in what we'd slept in. We found everyone outside, the queen immediately ripping my heart from my chest. Emma quickly caught me when I stumbled in pain, fighting the urge to both cry and throw up.

"Ah, good of you to join us Savior," she sneered and we all flinched when she squeezed his heart, making him cry out. "Now if you'll come with me, we can cut out this messiness."

"Fine, just stop!" Emma said quickly and she relaxed her hold while everyone else looked at Emma in shock. "I'll go with you, just give him his heart back and leave them alone, please."

"Deal," she smiled wickedly, shoving my heart back in my chest and waving her hand to make both her and Emma disappear before I could protest. Much like when she'd sacrificed herself to the darkness, I just stood there, still only in my pajama pants, trying to comprehend this awful feeling.

"What's going on?" Henry asked as he came running outside with Violet close behind, looking at everyone but freezing his eyes on me. "Where's mom?"

"She, uhm," I cleared my throat, pain still in my voice as I forced out the words. "She took her, the queen."

"Why is she always this stupid?" Regina said with annoyance and I glared at her. "What? She is. It's like she forgets that she's usually the one we need to get people out of things and sacrifices herself immediately. How does she expect us to get her back?"

"Regina, I swear to god," I started but David cut me off.

"Stop," he snapped. "Your fighting never solves anything, so either give a suggestion or shut up. Now, how are we getting Emma back?"

*Emma's POV *

"Good choice," the queen said after we'd appeared under the library, me already chained to the ground. "While I may see what you'd want in the pirate physically, he's not much for defense."

"Shut up," I snapped at her, pulling on my restraints. "You don't know anything about it. He'll find me, he always does."

"He has yet to face me," she pointed out confidently, throwing a few blankets at me. "May as well make yourself comfortable. You, my dear, are going to be a fabulous distraction while I finish making my plans."

"I think you mean our plans," a voice came from the shadows as a man emerged from them, immediately sharing a kiss with her that made me want to vomit. "Lovely job getting the savior, by the way. How'd you do it so quickly?"

"Love is weakness," she said simply, glancing at me smugly. "She's just as protective of that ridiculous pirate as every one of them is over that insufferable child. I barely even had to threaten him and she was mine."

"How convenient," he grinned at her, finally actually looking directly at me. "I'm sorry, where are my manners this morning. Mr. Hyde, nice to meet you."

"So it was you," I accused him, lashing out against my restraints again. "You're the one who almost killed him. I hope you know that as soon as I get out of this, you're going to wish you'd let Gold kill you. At least he would have been quick."

"You are rather impossible aren't you," he laughed darkly. "Well this is just going to be far too much fun. My partner is right, however, you may as well get comfortable, though I'm sorry to say we don't have any pants to offer you."

It was only then that I realized I was still only in my panties and Killian's shirt from yesterday, immediately trying to pull it down further as they both walked away. I gave in and layed out one of the blankets she'd thrown at me before, using another to cover my legs as I sat against the stone wall. I could tell they were blocking my magic but I tried anyway, almost able to break through. I sighed, closing my eyes and shaking my head at myself as I twisted my engagement ring around my finger. Come on Killian, I thought to myself, I know you can find me.

I know it's shorter than usual, but it's 4AM and I wanted to get you something. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it and please leave feedback so I can keep writing what you all love. Later, loves!
