*Emma's POV*

I woke up bare in Killian's arms the same way I did most mornings since he'd come back to me, but something wasn't the way I'd expected. I sat up holding the sheet to my chest, looking around to find us in our bedroom. As in the bedroom in our house.

"Killian," I turned to shake his shoulder a bit and he groaned. "Killian, wake up, babe."

"What is it, Swan?" he grumbled, moving closer to wrap his arms around me and lay his head on my thigh. I couldn't help my smile, feeling him sigh as I ran my fingers through his hair. "Is something wrong?"

"Where were we when we fell asleep?" I asked hesitantly and he opened his eyes a bit to look at me with confusion. "Just... answer the question."

"We were on my ship," he sighed, letting his eyes close again. "Why do you ask?"

"Because we're definitely not there anymore," I told him and his eyes opened again. "We're at home like before that whole mess started."

"Seriously?" he asked, looking around but settling back on my leg. "Okay, am I crazy? We were just in an alternate reality yesterday, weren't we?"

"Definitely," I nodded, running my fingers through his hair again out of habit. "But I guess it's over now. I'm just gunna go check on Henry, okay?"

"Hey," he grabbed my wrist after I'd gotten up and pulled on his shirt and a pair of shorts, now sitting up as he gently tugged me down for a soft kiss. "Stop the internal panicking and just breathe, okay? Everything's alright, I'm sure, so just go check on the lad and I'll make you something to eat."

"Okay," I agreed quietly, kissing him again quickly but much more deeply before going down the hall to Henry's room. I smiled to myself when I found my kid still fast asleep with his face smashed into his pillow, going to sit on the edge of his bed with my hand on his back and his eyes soon came open a bit. "Hey, kid, you sleep okay?"

"Fine," he mumbled. "But what's wrong? You're crying."

"Nothing," I shook my head, unable to help the tears that slipped from my eyes as I ran my hand through his hair repeatedly. "I'm not crying, I'm just really glad you're okay."

"Did you have another nightmare?" he asked and I looked at him with a bit of shock, unsure how he knew about those. "You wake up screaming, sometimes I wake up, too. Did that happen again?"

"Not exactly," I sighed, wiping tears off my cheeks with a sniffle. "Don't worry about it, okay? You can go back to sleep, but Killian's making breakfast if you want to come down."

"Kay," he sighed, sitting up and wrapping his arms around me in a tight hug. I sighed, closing my eyes and just holding him to me. "I love you, mom. It'll be alright."

"You're a good kid," I smiled a bit and kissed his forehead. "I love you more than I can even tell you. Let's go get some breakfast before he burns down the kitchen."

He laughed and we got up, walking downstairs together. I could hear Killian swearing and it vaguely smelled like something was burning. Henry went to get some juice but I stopped and watched Killian for a moment as he tried to cook in his boxers, shaking my head and going to put my hands on his bare waist.

"Need some help there?" I teased him lightly, going to his side as he wrapped his arm around me. "Because the line of profanity would suggest you're having trouble."

"I just don't bloody understand half the things in this world," he said with frustration. "It's like that damn toaster all over again."

"Go sit down," I laughed and shoved him towards the table. He tried to protest but I hushed him with a quick kiss. "Go. Just let me take care of my boys, okay?"
