I'd learned probably too much from Regina lately, shrinking the other Hook down and putting him into our bag of supplies. After that I got dressed, having the sense to think of a dress that would form around my bump this time while Killian went to get us something for breakfast. I put my hands on my bump as I sat on the edge of the bed, running them over it lovingly as I thanked every deity imaginable that the change in reality hadn't taken our little one from us. I knew Henry could take care of himself most of the time, but the baby...

"You alright?" Killian's voice broke me from my thoughts and I looked up. "You seem a bit... stuck in your mind."

"I am," I smiled a bit, leaning into his side when he sat next to me and wrapped his arm around me. "I was just thinking how lucky we got that all this didn't make us lose the baby. We don't usually get that fortunate."

"But we did this time," he said as he kissed my forehead, one of his hands joining mine on my belly. "And we'll keep it that way, I promise you. Let's just go see about getting home."

I nodded and he lifted my chin to kiss me softly before we got up to leave. I paid for our room with a bit of the money I'd taken from the castle in our escape and we found my horse still outside, getting on like we did yesterday and taking off at a steady trot out of town. I had to admit I was partial to this form of travel, giving me an excuse to be close to him for any amount of time.

*Killian's POV*

Strange as it may sound, I loved watching her. It put me at ease to rememorize everything about her, every tiny feature of her face, the way she moved, and even the way she'd run her fingertips along my skin absent mindedly almost all the time. Like right now, she was leaning her side against my chest with one of my arms behind her to hold the reins as she ran her thumb along the back of my other hand on her stomach. I'd never understood how some couples needed to fill the air with dead conversation or only got along in bed, while Emma and I were perfectly happy just to enjoy the others presence. I'll admit this was my only relationship like this, though, even Milah and I fought constantly and besides Emma she was the only sort of relationship I'd been in.

"There it is," she sighed and I looked up from her face to the Dark One's castle. "Hopefully this goes better than last time."

"I don't know about that, Swan," I smiled a bit to myself. "Last time led to you and me, so I don't know if anything could be better than that."

"Idiot," she giggled at me, sliding her arms around me as the horse started down the side of the hill and I held her tighter to me so she wouldn't fall. "I just mean I don't want him to try to kill you again."

"And what would make me agree to that?" The crocodile said as he appeared in front of us and I pulled us to a stop just as he started to choke me with his magic. "I've been waiting a long time for this."

"Because I can give you what you really want," Emma said quickly, putting her hand on the side of my neck when he let me go and I started coughing. I squeezed her hip to let her know I was alright but she kept her hand there, running her thumb along my skin as she turned her attention back to him. "We need help getting back to our reality and we're willing to make a deal."

*Emma's POV*

"Well that is quite the dilemma," Rumple said after we'd gotten to his castle and explained things to him. "But what is it you can give me?"

"Someone split me from the man I was when you and I had our... falling out," Killian explained reluctantly. "You're welcome to do as you please with that version of me. Work out your frustration, whatever, but we need to get home."

"I see," he nodded but was focused on me, walking closer and making me automatically put my hands protectively on my stomach which just made him smirk. "Ah, I think I do see now. And how far along are you now, Savior?"

"Almost thirteen weeks now," I told him reluctantly and Killian's hold on me grew tighter. "What does that have to do with anything?"

"Oh everything, dearie," he said cryptically, hovering his hands over mine. "Has she started kicking yet? With her lineage I'd think she'd make her presence known pretty early."

"She?" I asked quietly, tears quickly gathering in my eyes. "As in I'm having a daughter?"

"Oh, I've spoiled the surprise," he said almost smugly as I looked up at Killian in shock and back to him. "Well I guess the secret's out, but that didn't answer my question."

"Uhm, yeah, she kicks all the time," I answered, still flustered. "It's mostly when I use my magic, why do you need to know?"

"That's my business," he snapped a bit. "I'll see what I can do, but I require my price."

"Fine," Killian sighed, grabbing the supply bag and digging out the box his alter currently resided but hesitating to give it to him. "I give this to you, and you get us home?"

"Was that not the deal you requested?" he asked, rolling his eyes at our hesitance. "Yes, yes, it's a deal, let's get on with it before your disapproving father catches up." There was a banging on the front door only seconds later. "Oh, you've been found."

"Bloody hell," Killian sighed with frustration, setting the box on the table and taking my hand. "I expect you to follow through, but we have to go."

He just cackled like he always did as Killian and I ran out the back door.

It's shorter than I wanted, but hey, leaving you hanging is kind of what I do. I LOVED your comments by the way, and hopefully I'll post again soon. Later, loves!
