*Emma's POV *

"Wait," Regina stopped me less than half an hour later as we all stood in my living room, Killian's hand resting protectively on the small of my back. "Are you sure it was her? You both saw me crush her heart, that should be impossible."

"Unless it was actually you, I'm sure," I sighed, crossing my arms and feeling his hand slide to my hip to pull me closer to his side. "And she obviously knows exactly how to get to most of the people in this town. Henry. Add that to Hyde and whatever plan he has... I think it'd be best we all figure out a place to stay together, whether it's here, Regina's, or wherever."

"Good idea," she agreed though I knew she didn't really want to be in such close quarters with most of us. "But where is going to fit all of us? Unless you'd like to have a big slumber party on the living room floor, we can't stay here. There's a bit more room at my house but it's still not enough, and we have two babies to worry about."

"What about the Sorcerer's house?" Henry suggested and we all looked over at him. "Its protected with light magic already, even Hades couldn't touch it in his own realm. Add that to all of your magic, we should be fine, right?"

"It may actually work," Zelena said after a few moments of silence in the room. "The three of us going in on one spell in addition to all that's already there, it'd be impenetrable to anyone we want it to be."

"But what about the rest of the town?" My mother asked and we were all silent. "We can't just abandon them, we have to do something."

"We will," I said before the arguing could start. "But first we need to get all the kids to safety and get that spell cast. We'll get Violet's father and all head there now, get it protected, then head out and try to find her."

We all agreed to meet there in an hour and they left, Henry and Violet going with Regina. I let out a breath I hadn't realized I was holding and put my face in my hands soon feeling Killian pull me even closer. For once I just let him comfort me, wrapping my arms around him and closing my eyes with my head on his chest. He simply held me, his arm tight around my waist and his hand running up and down my back.

Once I felt at least a little better I pulled away, wasting little time in bringing his lips to mine. I felt him smile before we got lost in each other, my back hitting the wall as he took the first opportunity to meet my tongue with his. I couldn't hold back a soft moan, wrapping my arms around his neck and making a small sound of surprise when he quickly lifted me up so my legs were around his waist.

"Killian," I whispered breathlessly a few minutes later, pulling his hair gently to make him look at me. "We gotta go. We can do this later, I promise."

"Fine," he groaned dramatically but let my feet down. "What do we have to do to get one normal day?"

"Come on," I smiled, kissing him a few times softly before taking his hand and dragging him upstairs to pack. "What fun would that be?"

We packed a few things and were the first ones there. I started pacing and he grabbed my hand, giving me a reassuring nod when I looked up and threading his fingers through mine. I gave in and went back to his embrace, seeing no reason not to at this point considering we were alone and where we needed to be. I heard Henry come in, knowing Regina would be close behind and pulling away. I felt guilty but I could tell Killian got it, simply kissing my cheek and settling for holding my hand again.

"Well there's no sign of her or Hyde around town," my mom informed us when she came in with dad and my brother. "I told Blue and she said she'll do what she can, but I don't see why she'd go after anyone besides us."

"True," Regina agreed. "Even when I was chasing after you two I only hurt people who got in my way. Let's hope that doesn't happen here."

"We can't just hope and put everyone else at risk," I pointed out. "Most people in town will get in her way to try and protect us. We have a safe place now for all of us to stay tonight, but in the morning we might have to take the fight to her."
