* Emma's POV *

I sat straight up in bed, putting my hand on my stomach as the pain ripped through me. I tried to breathe through it, to pretend it wasn't happening but it wasn't working.

"Emma?" Killian mumbled sleepily, probably having felt me move. "Where'd you go?"

"Babe, something's wrong," I told him breathlessly and his eyes flew open. "It hurts. A lot. I don't know what to do."

"What hurts?" He asked, obviously trying to stay calm as he sat up and wrapped his arm around me to comfort me. "Its not the baby, is it?"

"I-I don't know," I shook my head and suddenly the pain was gone. "Its gone. The pain just disappeared."

"Well are you alright?" He asked with concern, freezing when he slid his hand to my stomach. "Love, you, uhm, your stomach..."

"What is it?" I asked, touching my stomach and finding it had grown to be a small bump that would probably just barely be noticeable. "Oh my god... that's not possible."

"How did she get to you?" He asked in disbelief. "We made dinner ourselves and she hasn't been anywhere near you since this morning."

"I have no idea," I breathed, tears coming to my eyes as I ran my hand over my bump. "But at least she didn't send me any further ahead. This is only maybe two months difference."

"It happens that fast?" He asked, then noticing my tears. "Love, what's wrong? Are you in pain again?"

"No, I just..." I shook my head and gave him a small smile. "It feels so much more real now. It's strange."

"Come here," he smiled a bit, making me lay back down and pulling me close with his hand still on my hip. "I know it's a lot, I do. But I'm here for you, always, and I intend to make sure the only thing you worry about is making what will be without question the most attractive child ever conceived."

"Idiot," I giggled a bit and he smiled, kissing me sweetly before pressing his forehead to mine. "I'm sorry, I just-"

"No," he cut me off with another soft kiss. "Don't you ever try to apologize to me, Swan, you're perfect. Just try to get some sleep, alright?"

"Okay," I sighed, bringing him back to me for a much deeper kiss. "I love you, Killian Jones."

"As I love you," he smiled, kissing me lightly. "Now sleep, my love. God knows what's in store for us tomorrow."

I grumbled a bit but wrapped my arms around him, closing my eyes and letting my legs tangle with his. He knew I had no choice but to relax when he ran his fingers through my hair, quickly making me fall asleep with a small smile on my lips.

When I woke up I was facing the now bright window, the curtains blowing in the breeze and Killian's body formed to my back. I turned over thinking he'd be asleep but found him dead, pale and cold. I was covered in blood from the wound exactly where I'd stabbed him with Excalibur, the wound on his neck open as well. Suddenly his eyes opened, now a dull grey staring at me coldly and I screamed.

I sat straight up in bed, covered in sweat and breathing heavily. I vaguely registered the light of dawn, looking around in a flat out panic.

"Emma?" Killian asked, my scream probably having woken him as he sat up and put one hand on the small of my back while the other went to my cheek. "Love, what is it?"

"You-you were dead," I managed, still shaking and not meeting his eyes. "I woke up and you were here but you were dead and I was covered in blood and your eyes-"

"Are right here," he cut me off, making me meet his eyes. They were exactly as they should be, bright blue and full of love looking back at me as I tried to breathe. "I'm right here with you, very much alive."
