"And what else did he - ?"
Steel shrugged. "Cadmus laid the blame on me,
But I'm no killer, you see.
That editor – Parker wasn't it? – lost his life
Through Cadmus' knife, not mine.
And now is my own on the line.
"Nobody will –"
"If I cooperate, you mean", she drew her gun.
"Oh, c'mon! Don't behave like a drama queen."
Steel aimed at the box with supplies.
"You want to catch him, right? Take revenge, go ahead!
You'll find him at an oasis far, far away –
Very close to Destiny."
"Of course! The map!" Lean pulled the paper out.
"Mind showing?"
As Lean returned to Crazygoose and Stannbear,
Steel's words were still in her ear:
"Agreed! But don't forget – you've been being watched all the time,
and still you're."
Crazygoose jumped from her seat: "Lean!"
"Supplies saved." Lean smiled.
"And Steel?"
Lean fell silent.
