Breathless
Tired of all bickering, Lean got up from her stool.
"I need some time to cool down.
Goodbye."
She waved with the ghost of a smile.
Truth was, the thought of a church got stuck in her head;
And when she returned home,
She was greeted by a bat
On the floor.
"Next time, use the door."
Clap. Clap. Clap.
It echoed from the walls
"So you heard my call and came, Lean -"
"This riddle was kinda lame."
He grinned. "Same here!"
"Hunter, you -" she spat,
Ignoring the gun in his hand.
The fight was over right after the start,
A bullet pierced her heart.
From the Saloon's roof, Raven saw Hunter dashing away
On, he blinked, Six Star's back
And shouting words barely reachin' the ear.
Raven rushed to the doors
To better hear:
"Lean's dead!"
Later, he found her in the basement of the old church,
Along with a note:
Six Star - Rue
Hammock - 3Gun
Hat, Knife - CG
Guns - Raven and CS
Thunderpanda - Stannbear
Map - Kae?
Deck - Hunter
He took what he could
-Both guns, the map, hat and deck-
And brought it back to the Saloon.
In the far distance,
The clock struck noon.
