stannbear was back guardin' the jail
happy to be rid of his mop and pail
3Gun had done just about all he could
The Gulch was safe, the citizens good
He decided to do what any man would
He decided to check on the hotel guest
Miss Evelyn Treelane, toast of the west
Would she consent to a song in the Gulch's saloon
After the work day in the late afternoon?
He'd get the old piano player to render a tune
Evelyn said yes, Roland said no
