Big Doin's in Busted Gulch
Well the stage from Rickety came roarin' in
Once or twice a year is all it's bin
But for the folks in town it's a celebration
What did it bring is the burning question
There was lots of stuff for the dry goods store
Clothes, tools, pots and pans
Items folks had never seen before
And mail some had been waiting for
An entertainer and her manager,
hoping for the train
A drummer with a suitcase
full of everything you could name
The driver needin' horses
to replace a tired team
They were leavin' in the mornin'
for Oh Aces it would seem
The lady entertainer and her agent took a room
The driver began stories about Destiny and doom
3Gun bought him drinks
listening to the doom and gloom
The drummer set up, displayin' all his wares
The farmers left, the cowboys stirred
the blacksmith said, 'Nobody cares.'
3Gun bought a shot glass
