stannbear spoke to Steel and showed her the parchment
She laughed and handed it to her aunt
Olla passed it back and sat, holding the bars
She said she'd tell stannbear all that she knew
because she knew they were goners
next time the Marshal came through
The parchment was phony, simply a joke
to add some confusion, to throw up some smoke
He came back to the saloon
a little too soon
Lean had to go back to the doc's for some pills
But he gave them the news
and it brought on the blues
adding much more to their ills
The Facts:
1) - When Hunter Kanga and Alister Clover's partnership broke up, Hunter met Cadmus Croc.
2)- Hunter used Lean to get in with her crowd
3)- Together Croc and Hunter planned the train robbery using the horserace as a diversion.
4)- Cadmus was with Steel Diamond at the time and she suggested stannbear as their rider.
5)- After the train business and the killing of Parker, Croc and Steel fell out. He took off with all their money and she turned to crime, stealing the saloon supplies.
6)- Hunter was left to watch secretly and told Croc what Steel had done. Croc tried to get the supplies but Steel's gang stopped him. He wounded Steel and fled.
7)- Hunter remained hidden and watched all the events that followed.
8)- stannbear is a Diamond, but his parents are long gone.
9)- The maps that Lean and CG found are both real but it shows a town called Oh Aces, not an oasis. That town is where Croc is staying. And Hunter is still out there somewhere, watching.
10)- 3Gun wants a meeting to decide how to handle Croc . . . if at all.
