It was a lonely ride
to the Bitchin' Ditch
that 3Gun spent reminiscin'
about the good old days
with an incredible gang
and the one he will be missin'
Nobody knew
what he found on Croc
he never told a soul
but the letter explained
a lot of things
especially Hunter's role
It was the deed
to Alister Clover's land
that he'd been after all along
for underneath
the burned out home
the lure of gold was strong
And all those events
that took place in the past
with Hunter hangin' 'round Lean
This knowledge of gold underground
we see now
what it all did mean
Croc acquired the deed
and hid it away
not telling Hunter the spot
So he bided his time
and narrowed it down
to the old cabin or
the Bitchin' Ditch mine
