I knew exactly what to do to tell Martin I was pregnant finally. I was going to wrap the results of my pregnancy test up in a box and give it to him. Him still being out on field problem made it more exciting for him to come home to good news.

Later that day after finding out I was pregnant I was talking to my older sister Dalana about how to come up with cute ideas for the baby's room. I had to go to the bathroom and told her to hang on. I went to the bathroom and felt a sharp pain and blood started pouring out of me. I went hysterical and my sister told me to call an ambulance but I was in shock I couldnt. I jumped into the truck and at high speed made it to the back gate of the military base. From there was a blur.

The gate guards there saw all the blood and called an ambulance to take me to the hospital and all I could think about was Martin and how he didn't know that I was pregnant and how bad it would be for him to find out like this.

They took me to the hospital and the doctor gave me some meds to calm me down through the iv that the ambulance put in me during the ride to the hospital. I passed out due to the loss of the blood. The doctor who saw me earlier that day was still on duty and came in to tell me the news. By then he had contacted Martin's unit to have him brought in from the field exercise.

Martin's sargents brought him to the hospital and the doctor led him into the room where I was. He looked at me in shock and tears in his eyes. His sargents gave their condolences and left and told Martin to take the next few days off to be with me. Martin did what any noble man would do and climbed into bed and held me while I cried.
