As we eat I hear Julian begin to stir from his nap. Martin is continuously eye balling me and winking and smiling even more. I go to get Julian and try and hush his cries. Martin enters Jake's room where I was t o see if he could lend a helping hand by giving me Julians diaper bag. Sitting it down for me he eagerly asks me what I need from the bag and begins to take the items out for me.
Feeling his closeness to me sends a whirl wind of emotions I have never felt before. I hurry to clean up Julian and set him down. Martin offers to get a sippy cup of milk for Julian and I watch him leave. I exit with Julian running to Trev. He jumps up and down for Trev to pick him up. Martin comes from the kitchen and grabs up Julian and gives him his sippy cup. Just watching him with my son was awe.
Soon after dinner it was time for me to leave to take Julian home and for me to prepare for work the next day. Julian would be with his father for the weekend so caring for him wouldn't be an issue. I tell everyone goodbye and go to walk out. Jade offers to help me carry out all of Julians things and help me into the car. Martin comes running out and holds up my purse as to say hey you forgot this. I go to grab it and our hands brush together just briefly and I feel a since of warmth begin to shoot through my body.
What was this man doing to me as he pulls away letting go of my purse. He smiles and winks at me before disappearing back in to Jades house. I tell Jade that I think Martin likes me. She laughs at me and says that maybe he is just being friendly.
