"And would you like to know the gender?" The doctor asked.
Louis was still in the hospital. Harry decided to go to the appointment anyways, wanting to know how his baby was doing. He was also debating finding out the gender, even without Louis there. He could always just tell him.
"Y-Yeah," Harry exhaled. The doctor moved her wand across Harry's stomach a bit before she smiled and nodded.
"It's a girl," She revealed, smiling widely at Harry. Harry could feel his eyes tear up as he stared at the screen.
"Would you like me to print a picture?" The doctor asked. Harry nodded, wiping his eyes.
"Five, please," He asked politely. The doctor nodded, pressing a button before handing Harry a tissue to wipe off his stomach.
She handed him the pictures, him thanking her and taking them from her. After thanking the doctor one last time, he left the small OB/GYN office to go back to the hospital.

"How is he?" Harry asked, spotting Louis' nurse in the corridor. The kind woman smiled at him.
"He's doing great. Made a quick recovery, you can go visit him if you want," She chuckled. "He's been asking for you, actually. He's in room 206."
Harry's entire face lit up. "Thank you so much," He gushed before rushing down the corridor toward the room.
Once Harry reached the room, he took a deep breath. He wanted to try and prepare himself in case Louis was hooked up to a bunch of tubes and wires. That image of him on the day of the accident has been burned into his mind permanently, and he always feels a bit anxious when he thinks back to it.
Harry slowly opened the door, immediately feeling relieved when he saw Louis only had tubes going up his nose to help him breathe. Louis noticed Harry walk in and he smiled, pressing a button on the side of the bed that made the bed lift up his upper half so he was sitting up.
"Hazzy, bubba!" Louis said excitedly. Harry immediately felt better when he heard Louis say his name.
"Hey, sunshine," Harry said softly, walking over and sitting down in a plastic chair next to the bed. He noticed how the nurse out extra pillows next to Louis so he wouldn't fall. It made him feel a bit better.
"I went to the appointment," Harry mentioned. Louis' eyes shined as he looked over to Harry pleadingly. Harry smiled and put his hand over Louis'.
"We're having a girl," Harry revealed softly. Louis' eyes widened as his lopsided smile grew. Harry smiled as well, wiping a tear that slipped out of Louis' eye and down his cheek.
"I w-in!" Louis cheered, making Harry laugh.
"Good job, sunshine," Harry praised. Louis giggled and sloppily clapped his hands together (he tried, at least).
"Lou fe-el go-od-er," Louis tried to explain that he was feeling better without using harder words–he was too tired.
"Good," Harry said before his expression turned more serious. "The doctor said this might happen again."
Louis nodded, a small frown taking over his lips. "It's okay," Harry said quickly, squeezing Louis' hand. "It's just another thing we have to deal with, okay? But that's okay, we're strong, right?"
Louis nodded. "Li-ke su-per-man," He stuttered. Harry smiled and nodded, kissing Louis' hand.
"Just like superman," He agreed.

"Harry!"
Harry turned around to find Jay rushing toward him, a worried expression on her face.
"How is he? Is he okay?" She asked worriedly. Harry smiled and nodded, pulling her into a comforting hug.
"He's fine. He had a seizure, but he's okay," Harry assured. "This is just something we're going to deal with."
Jay nodded, kissing Harry's cheek. "Thank you," She said, patting his cheek. Harry furrowed his eyebrows.
"For what?" He asked.
"For staying with him," Jay explained. "I know he's hard to handle."
Harry smiled back at her. "I would never leave him, Jay," He said sincerely.

Niall, Liam, Zayn and Perrie arrived an hour later. They were all worried about Louis.
"How is he? Is he doing alright?" Liam asked. Harry smiled at him and nodded, standing up from his chair so he was face-to-face with everyone.
"He's okay," Harry assured. "He had a seizure, but he's okay. This is a thing now, apparently."
Everyone looked relieved. Harry smiled before feeling a pain in his stomach, causing him to wince a bit.
"Harry? Is something wrong?" Niall asked. Harry shook his head, exhaling a bit.
"I'm just getting a bit of pain down here," He explained, pointing to the bottom of his stomach. Perrie nodded, eyebrows furrowed.
"Is it a Braxton Hick?" She asked. Harry furrowed his eyebrows.
"A what?" Harry asked confusedly, eyebrows furrowed.
"It's like, preparing your body for labour," Perrie explained. "Like contractions, but not really. Your stomach gets all tight and stuff."
"Oh," Harry mumbled. "Yeah. I guess that's it." He looked back down at his stomach, which was hidden behind his t-shirt, and winced at the pain.
Perrie laughs. "You have so much to learn," She teases, causing Harry to glare back at her.
