Chapter 11: Old friend

I woke up and saw that I was on (Y/B/F) couch. I stand up  and yawn and rub my eyes.

"Morning sunshine" I hear someone say. I turn to my right and see Stefani in the kitchen making pancakes and (Y/B/F) cutting up some fruits. I nod.

"Morning guys. When did you guys wake up?" I say still rubbing my eyes. 

"Like a while ago when you were still sleeping" (Y/B/F) says. I nod again and clean up the living room. With all the pillows and blankets. I check my phone and see that James was my lockscreen....I look down at my phone in sadness. Ahem....I hear. I look up from my phone.

I see that Stefani had a plate of pancakes on the dining room table. Here eyebrows raise and I set my phone down and go ahead and eat my breakfast. 

As we were eating we talked here and there. "So....you and Aleks?" Stefani says and I look back at (Y/B/F). She blushes and I smirk at her.

"What do you mean?" She says. "You guys have been really close..." I say still eating my pancakes and she looks at me and I look up. "Whatever. We will get it out of her system....." Stefani says I nod and (Y/B/F) chuckles. 

Once were done I insisted to clean up since they did all the work. Once I was done I went on my phone. I got a text from Brandon.

Brandon: Hey I'm in town. We should hang out?

I reply back saying

Sure. When and where?

Brandon: 11:45 and there is this cool sushi place? How bout that

Me: Sure! See u there

I then ask Stefani if she could bring me to the house to get clothes. 

"Sure...where are you going?" She says raising an eyebrow. "Oh. I'm going out for lunch with one of my friends" I say and she nods and we get inside her car. Once we reached the house she waited in the driveway and I went inside and said hi to the guys and thank god James wasn't there....it would be really awkward. I then get an outfit from my closet and picked out....

I put it on and putted on light makeup and said bye to the guys and went inside Stefani's car. Once we were at the house I waited for him. 

I was on my phone until I heared a horn honk and I looked outside the window to see Brandon leaning on his car. He had brown slicked back hair and brown eyes and he was wearing black jeans, white t-shirt and a flannel. 

"Hey!" I say hugging him and I hug back. "Hi. How have you been?" He says as we bot hget in his car.

"Good just You-Tube stuff. you?" I say buckling my seatbelt. "All right as you know I'm into photography so yah." I nod and we talk and as we reached the sushi place we parked next to a car. I thought I notced it but I just brushed it off and Brandon opened the door for me.

"Oh. Thank you" I say stepping out of the car and smiling. "No problem" he says and we both go inside the place and order a table for two. We decided to go to booth. Until....I saw James...'im dead'. He was at the corner of the place with some people.....I then shaked my head and brushed it odd 'its ok just focus (Y/N)' 

We got our menu's and I looked around the sushi place it was really cool and it was pretty dark but chill. I noticed two girls at a table and a couple at another table and at the corner I noticed that James was with intern Joe, Aleks and Jordan. I take a quick glance at James and we lock eyes but look away.

"Hey...You ok?" Brandon says and I look back at him and nod. "Yah....So what do you want to order?"

*James's POV* 

I was out for lunch at this sushi place with Intern Joe, Aleks and Jordan. We were all waiting for our food until I saw someone walk in.....(Y/N). We exchange glances but I look away and thank god they other guys didn't notice. She sat down at a booth with a guy but I didn't get good look at hi.  Me and her looked at each other again but looked away. 'what am I gonna do?" I want to talk to her but I know she is still scared.

"Hey! You good dude?" Aleks says sitting across from me. 

"Yah. Why?" I say blushing

"Nothing just you looked uneasy...." He says. Once we got our food we ate and talked and I decide to use the washroom. Once I was about to go I bumped into.....(Y/N).

"Oh...hey" I say scratching my head and looking down and up at her.

"Hey....Look I gotta go" She says leaving but I grab her wrist and stop her.

"Wait...Who are you with?" I say curiously.....I must sound like a creep but I need to know. "Brandon..."she says looking down and fiddling with her fingers. I'm shocked. I thought they were just friends. "I thought you guys were just friends?!" I say kind of mad. Here eyes widen and I mumble sorry with a smirk.

"We are...he was just in town and wanted to hang out." She says with a sad face.

"Oh...sorry for overeacting. I guess I'll see you later" I say I mumble 'or maybe never' I looked down and just went to my table. I can tell she was about to say something but I just left....

*Your POV*

He then left and I was standing there in sadness.....

I then went back to my table to see our food we almost finished. Brandon finshed his but I didn't bother. What have I done? I was so scared and I wish wasn't....I miss him and I love him.

"Hey..." Brandon says and I look up and he holds my hand what was on the table and glance at it. "You ok?" he says....I shake my head. "Here...let's go to your house ok?" I nod. He pays for our lunch and we go inside his car. I lean my head against the window and look outside....It started raining but I didn't care...
