"C'mon, my little stars! Fly to the earth and make wishes come true," says the greatest guardian of the Heavens as he opened the gates to Earth.
One by one, each shooting star starts to jump off into the gate and swiftly fly to the Earth's sky.
I could see the excitement and happiness of my buddies as their golden glow shine brighter than they used to. Well, I myself couldn't hide it since this would be the very first time I'll land on Earth and be someone's shooting star.
Every year, we, star dusts grow ourselves up so we could form into shooting stars every first night of spring and fly to Earth. Before Shooting Stars get to land, we have to fulfill someone's wish on Earth first before we are called to come back in the Heavens.
As for me, since this would be the very first time I'll become a shooting star, I hope someone would notice my brightness right away and get to wish from me.
Eagerly, I brush off my star-shaped glider and prepare myself to jump.
"Spring has come! I'm coming, Earth!" I exclaimed as I happily jump into the space between the Heavens and the Earth's Sky.
While traveling, everything went so fast.
I thought I was ready as I can ever be since I've practiced for this moment a lot of times. It seems that it's much harder in reality. I couldn't close my mouth and I couldn't see clearly. I couldn't even use my glider properly since I am flying in on Earth too quickly.
As I am closing in on the Earth's Surface, I think I heard a whisper out of nowhere. I couldn't hear it clearly but I think the voice sounds very low and gloomy.
I try to look everywhere to see where the voice is coming from but I couldn't see a thing. Only when I tried to squint my eyes did I able to see something in front of me and to my surprise, it was a huge trunk of a tree!
"Oh no!" I gasp.
I swiftly try to glide away from it but I got a little late so I bumped into the tree, unto the bushes and lastly to the grasses.
"Ow! It really hurts," I cry out in pain but it seems that there's only me in the middle of the forest.
I look back at my glider and I could see that one of its edges has gotten folded.
"How am I going to fly now? Could somebody help me please?" I call out again for help but I hear no answers. However, I notice something glowing a few distances away.
It keeps on flying behind the huge trees and thick bushes as if it is scared to come anywhere near me.
"Hey! Don't worry, little friend. I'm not going to hurt you," I say as I am trying to catch a glimpse of its face, but still it refuses to come near.
After a few moments, it descends behind the flowers across me. And there, I finally got to see what it looks like—a fairy. And, she's absolutely mesmerizing.
She looks so beautiful from the distance. My mouth fell open as I watch her shines through the dim lit forest. White as the snow, clear as the crystal, bright as the diamond; definitely, her glow looks different from mine, better than anything that I have ever seen.
When our eyes meet for the first time, I shyly greet her. However, my tongue suddenly felt numb and I couldn't even say a word.
She giggles and starts to fly again. This time, she hovers above me. It looks like she is looking at something behind me. Must be my glider!
