And the story begins here...

"Today Natasha, is day one. Today is the first day of the rest of your life."

I looked at Vince and nodded slowly. "And I'm so grateful that you took the time to watch my video and to meet me here today."

He stood up and brushed a hair through his greying hair before he shook my right hand, my hand was a bit clammy and I think he knew that, especially when he swiped his hand on the front of his suit, unintentional but I still noticed. "It's good to have you back Natasha."

"Thank you so much," I beamed at him as I didn't even think and pulled him close and hugged him. He kind of reminded me of a grandad, a good parent, a great family member who is always there for you.

He took his seat again and motioned for me to take mine, I did as requested before he began to speak again. "I do have your contract here with me. It is an open contract at the moment and you may be drafted to either Smackdown or Raw once the decision has been finalised. As of today I am the only person who knows you have arrived. I will meet with my daughter and son tomorrow and their general managers and we shall go from there." He pushed the contract towards me on the table along with a pen. "You can take your time. If I was you I would take particular care to read sections 8 and 9."

How kind of him to point them out. I skipped down to them immediately and took a sharp intake of breath, all clauses relating to my previous illness and any bouts I may have in the future. I took my time read every word for word before I skimmed over the rest of the contract, the main details being at the top.

Terms & Conditions

Contract is live and in action for 5 years unless a clause is broken or a request for termination is requested. Contract is only valid once drafted to Smackdown or Raw.

I took the pen from the desk and signed on the dotted line before pushing it back towards Vince. He smiled at me, "You'll hear from me tomorrow in the afternoon." He stood up once more and I followed suite before we greeted goodbye to each other and I left his office.

I officially for at least the next twenty four hours had a job and was finally getting my life back on track. It had only taken me five years.
