My eyes opened slowly in the morning, the light blaring in through the thin curtains was so bright, it made me want to claw my eyes out. I turned over in the bed away from the light but all that did was make me feel sick. Climbing out of the bed I managed to find my way to the bathroom before I leaned over the toilet bowl and emptied my stomach contents into it before I leaned my head against the bath and groaned loudly to myself.
I needed to stop putting myself through this, I needed to become a responsible adult at some point. I needed to just man up, be a big girl, put my big girl pants on and actually get a fucking life.
My pity party was interrupted by my mobile ringing loudly, I looked around before I realised it was by my bed, pushing myself to my feet, using the side of the bath for support, I headed into the bedroom. By the time I threw the blankets back and found my phone it had finished ringing, picking it up I checked the screen and sighed. My brother always called me at the most inconvenient times, I swear.
As I called him back I wiped my mouth with a tissue before he answered, "Hello?"
"You okay?" I asked him as I chucked the tissue into the nearby bin and then fell back on my bed.
I heard some noise in the background before he spoke again, "Actually, I have some news I want to share with you."
"Please tell me you are returning to wrestle and I won't be here alone any more?" I grinned widely as I thought of the possibility.
"No."
I let out a sigh, "This conversation is boring me now."
"It's better than that, I promise."
"Spit it out then."
"It's Charlotte," I heard him say. "She's pregnant."
I sat up quickly, my hands sweating almost instantly as I listened. I didn't really know what to say to him, knowing he'd have the one thing I couldn't have.
"Are you still there Tasha?" He asked I must have been silent for a while.
"Yea," I spoke in a quiet voice. "Congratulations," I managed to squeeze the words passed my lips. "Oh I have to go, someone is banging on my door," I lied before I ended the call quickly and abruptly.
I placed the phone on the nightstand before I stood up, I needed to do something, anything to rid my mind of the recent news. Hurrying into the bathroom I brushed my teeth to rid myself of the sick taste in my mouth, although I doubted there was any point in me trying, I would probably throw up again soon.
After I brushed my teeth I changed out of last night's clothes and into some comfy training clothes, I sent a text to Seth and asked him to meet me at the nearby training gym before I dumped my phone back down wanting to avoid any other contact with the world before I set off.
My feet were killing me by the time I arrived at the gym, I had pushed myself to run all the way. My calves were burning and the sweat was mangled in my hair but I didn't care. I needed to feel alive, I needed to feel the burn and the pain, it was the only thing that reminded me right now that I was alive, that I wasn't watching a dreadful movie.
Pushing my way into the gym and down to the basement, I saw Seth sitting in the ring waiting for me. He raised an eyebrow as he looked over at me, "Bout time," he commented as he got to his feet.
"Shut up," I groaned as I climbed up onto the apron and stepped through the ropes. "I just want to train!"
"Someone woke up with their panties in a twist!" He laughed before he started to stretch, "Or is it a massive hangover?"
